Shel🦜🌻: I am brand new to canning and before I went out and bought all the tools I wanted to do my research. This book really helps clarify a lot of things and has so many yummy looking recipes. After finishing the book, I feel like I still had a lot of questions but overall I feel a lot better about canning than I did prior to reading.

I love everything about this book! I hadn’t done any canning since I was young and really wanted to get back into it! I ran across this on Amazon and the reviews are what had me make up my mind to buy it!
It’s a great size, easy to understand, the colorful photos along with very detailed instructions and details on what foods should and shouldn’t look like during the process! Even down to where you are in regards to elevation! From water pickling to fermenting, this book has it all! I’m so excited to start preserving our food again! It will bring a great piece of mind especially after the ice storm that just hit Texas where I live. With no power for nearly 4 days, it would’ve been great to have some canned stew to cook in the fire! I’ll be deciding what to grow in our garden this year based on what we want to preserve! I can not recommend this book enough! It’s written in a ln easy to understand way! It starts with a history on canning, second chapter is Getting Started, 3rd is Water Canning and it just gets better!
