Mckenzie Langford: I like the way that she breaks canning down. I found it to be really helpful. I love her writing style and recipe footnotes, however, I don't like most of the recipes. I will keep but I usually reference my ball canning book or the internet for most of my recipes now.

J. H. WHORL: Bought this for my wife who has been canning for over 50 years. She wanted some basic recipes that she could add her own ingredients to, and she said this book was perfect. She said it had clear instructions with simple everyday ingredients. She said everyone, new canners or old should keep this a reference to refer to when needed.
