Holly Laughlin Falvey: I've made my first week of food. I'm not impressed.
If you're the type of person who like easy to make, cheap, and unseasoned food this is for you. Or if you're just starting out meal prepping. I would have liked to see the recipes or at least some before purchasing, but none of the books I looked at were any better in this department.
I will give the book/author props on how the book is written. It was well though out and the information is spot on. There is no room for questions.
The food itself is bland.... The first week contains an egg frittata, sesame beef and coleslaw, chicken fajita bowl and the broccoli cheese soup. I made everything yesterday and I did taste as things were getting done...
The egg frittata... is just egg, cheese, bacon, onion and pepper. Salt and pepper. Nothing special.
The chicken fajita bowl... I thought it was odd that you don't cook the cauliflower rice. I did anyway, and seasoned it with taco seasoning. The recipe doesn't call for any seasonings or spice aside from hot sauce. That to me isn't a chicken fajita bowl. And I'm not one for eating (pretty much) raw cauliflower.
The broccoli cheese soup is simple to make, but again,...

M. Moore: Having been introduced to the primal blueprint approximately 10 years ago and having really good success, I now find post covid and menopause have devastated my routines, exercise regime and levels of motivation across the board. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this book. It is much more than meal prep, providing shopping lists, strategies to overcome cravings and some cost effective nutritional but tasty meals. Excellent value and I will be using copiously over coming weeks.

customer: I purchased this book about two or three years ago, and I always rave about it to my friends and family. It is the best meal prep and plan book that I've ever purchased. I am not even embellishing. It has helped me lose so much weight, approximately 80 lbs and to do so in an easy, no brainer manner. The recipes are good, the macros are calculated for you if you want to go full keto (so no math), and it's easy to follow. The best part of the book is the shopping list and the choice of ingredients. A lot of meal planning/prepping books will require you to buy a specialized/unique ingredient, that you use in only one dish, is expensive, and you now have an entire bag of arrowroot powder that you will never use again that is dying in your pantry and you paid $15.00 for. With respect to this book, every ingredient you buy off of the shopping list--you use. It doesn't have you buy fancy ingredients, and anything that you have left over are staples in other recipes that you will use in the future (example, almond flour, coconut flour). Seriously, give this book a chance. My husband is now joining me on this and he has already lost 15 lbs in the first couple of weeks and is very happy...

Eva: Mon mari et moi avons décidé de nous lancer et avec ce livre c'est sans regrets. Nous en sommes à notre deuxième cycle. La seule chose est que je ne rajoute jamais de sel et poivre car je trouve que les plats sont assez salé tel quel. Mon mari au bout de preque trois mois est à -7 et moi -9kg. Le meal prep plan est bien fait les recettes sont variées et très bonnes. Je recommande vraiment !

Darran loweDarran lowe: The meals are really nice, but you have to use your initiative and make sure your eating enough calories as the meals in this book are only around 1500 cals for the day, so I added an extra meal to bring my calories up to 2100. There's a calculator online as mentioned in the book for you to check your recommended calories and macros. The only other downsides are no 7th day meal and the measurements are in US Cups. Give it a try, then make your own meal plan with the meals that you like best.

Kris: I lost 40 lbs following the weekly recipes in this book. I have gone through the book two times now! On my second run through the book I opted to use the alternate / replacement foods for several of the main dishes to add variety. And there is a LOT of variety. Following the book the first time through, and buying the exact ingredients (including all organic meats) I was pushing about $90 / week on average for meal prep. I was able to knock this back considerably though on my second pass through to about $50 / week. Do you HAVE to have fresh organic grass fed / finished chicken? Yeah you probably should, but if you are on a budget then you CAN go with flash frozen organic options or even non-organic. The other thing I found was that if you have a firm grasp on your macros you can minimize and simplify the recipes each week. I still cooked out of the book, but instead of so much variety chose to have some "favorites" that I could cook in bulk and freeze for the following week (so long as that recipe would stay fresh enough or was something you could freeze and reheat). All in all there are some REALLY tasty main dishes in here, along with a litany of snacks. DO NOT FORGET TO SNACK....

Susan G: I got my new “Easy Keto Meal Prep” by Aaron Day. I must tell Aaron what a good job he did. There are great color pictures! I like that they are consecutive meal plans 2 days of this 3 days of that 4 days of this 5 days of that and 6 days of this. So there are 18 containers for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
I don’t like to cook so I am really happy because I can make every recipe in this book. They don’t have tons of ingredients, go together quickly ...and they are flavorful! They ALL look good to me (except one) and I can switch it with something else.
I don’t know how to prep so I decided to make three days at a time. I came up with this because I am going to join my hubby eating Keto. So that is why or I will have 36 containers in my fridge!
