Christine Dueck: I absolutely love this cookbook. For starters, it beautiful and so inspiring when I’m meal planning for my week. The recipes themselves are divided into sections such as sauce, veggies, meat, etc. This makes it really easy to use individual elements of the recipes if I don’t have all the ingredients for the complete recipe. I often turn to this book to find sauces that are tasty, trustworthy and allergy friendly for my household. Overall, it has given me a refreshed idea of delicious and nutritious dishes!

Megan Soisson: I love this cookbook! Practically every recipe has been a hit among friends and family. What I love about it is that all the recipes are accessible. I don’t feel like their are too many unusual ingredients and the prep is fairly simple so that I’m not spending all night in the kitchen. The recipes are all around delicious and HEALTHY. Full of REAL FOOD that fits with truly any diet.
Some of my favorites:
- creamy vanilla bean berrylicious bowl - wow is that sauce delish! I could have eaten it solo.
- Brussels sprouts and date chopped salad - add some chicken and it’s a perfect meal!
- chicken egg roll meatball bowl - OMG this might be my favorite. All the Asian flavors were insanely tasty
-superfood salmon bowl - loved the mix of salmon, sweet potatoes and beets with a little sweetness in the dressing. Keeps well for leftovers too!
-sweet potato carbonara - I was shocked that a non pasta carbonara could be so good and that my husband would request that I cook it over and over again!
So many more great recipes and many more that I haven’t tried yet! Such a great cookbook and so worth the money.

Hillary Paul: This is one of the best cookbook purchases I have ever made! I have used this just about every week since I bought it in September, most weeks more than once. The meals are all delicious and nutritious. The best party about it is that my 7 year old son who is super picky is eating more vegetables than he ever has!

carolc07carolc07: I’ve been following Kelsey (@littlebitsof_realfood) on Instagram for a few years, so I was super-excited when she announced a cookbook. Every recipe has clear instructions & a great photo to show you how the finished product should look. There’s something in here for ALL different situations, and they’re all delicious. Want something good, but easy? Garlic-Bacon-Kale Bowl (see photo) is super-fast — chop the kale while the bacon is cooking & you’ve got breakfast/lunch in a snap! Craving something sweet, but don’t want a sugar bomb? The Date Caramel Apple Dip (see photo) is super-satisfying (pro tip: the recipe makes FOUR servings, not one 😆) — it would also make a great ice cream topping! Kelsey’s personality also shines through throughout the book. My pictures don’t look as good as hers, but at least I look at my results & they look similar to hers — always a sign of a good cookbook for me! This is one of those cookbooks where the recipes will go into heavy rotation.

aneeper: Oh man, I just read a review saying this book lacks creativity, and I am siting here scratching my head wondering what book they are looking at, because I am admiring literally every single photo and recipe in this book and I couldn’t be more impressed and happy with my purchase. I don’t usually like to buy cookbooks, but this one to me is a must have and I am so happy I did! It promotes healthy eating and it’s just the cutest, perfect size/ weight cookbook. I really don’t say this just because I absolutely adore Kelsey, but because this book has the best quality glossy semi thick paper, beautiful cover, vibrant pictures and very delicious looking recipes that I cannot wait to make/ try. It made my mouth water, so it cannot be that bad, right? I guess that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I believe this book is everything from beautiful to interesting to high quality and intriguing even.
Thank you Kelsey, for all of your hard work in together this book, I think it’s amazing!
You are very talented!

Alyssa: LOVE! Everything about this book I love - the concept, the photos, the recipes. I saw one review stating that this book “lacks creativity” and “is flat” and my response is: ??? If you’ve been eating in the paleo world for a while, you probably know that there’s a lot of bloggers with a lot of recipes making food “healthier”. You’ve also probably made more than 1 or 10 paleo recipes from those blogs that were just awful, and I wouldn’t buy a cookbook from those bloggers if they made one. I bought this book because every single one of Kelseys recipes I’ve made from her blog I’ve loved (every single one - I’m not kidding. Check out her walnut crusted chicken and churro peanut butter cookies (almond butter for paleo) on her blog). So I knew when I ordered this book that these recipes would be the same - flavorful, fool proof, yummy and satisfying. I am SO excited about this book and seriously cannot get over how unique of a concept it is - paleo bowls! Love it.

Alexandria: I have been following Kelsey since I did my first Whole30 back in May of 2017. Her blog has been one of my go to recipe sites for all things Whole30 and Paleo. I love the simplicity of this cookbook and how easy everything is to follow. Ingredients that are used are easy to find and if you cook/eat Paleo most of them you tend to have on hand. I like how the book is organize and it makes for deciding what you want to cook that much easier. I haven't bought a new cookbook in at least 5 years because everything is easy to find online but I knew this one was a must have and I have not been disappointed! My sister and I want to make it a goal to cook through every recipe in the book over the next year, wish us luck :)

Bee Payne: I disliked Ghee on page 16 without a substitute. Paleo would not use Ghee!
I would have liked recipes for two rather than 4. Many house holds have one or two persons. It is not possible to freeze all the left overs? I cook for one!
Otherwise, it is a good book with clear instructions, though some recipes, the list of ingredients are far too many and are off putting, page 16 meat loaf is one. Perhaps the tomato sauce at the end of the book made with other recipes in mind?
