nickyole: I'm only on week four but this book is great for a novice cook like me. I'm a busy working mom and stress every week about finding recipes and then end up wasting a bunch of food. This has cut my grocery bill in half and saves me so much time. I love that it gives you a grocery list, tells you exactly how to meal prep and gives you recipes to last the week. To top it off, the meals are delicious! Even my chef husband is surprised by how good some of these recipes turn out. Buy this book!

Vivian Pan: I just graduated college and started working full time. This book has been really good for teaching me various dishes and how to simplify my weekly prep. I'm currently on week 5! I will say that there just isn't enough salt and seasoning on the recipes, but that could just be my own opinion on what food should taste like.

EKD: The concept behind this book is great you prep one protein one veggie and one starch ahead to use in quick assembly meals throughout the week , perfect if you want to keep variety and you don’t like normal meal prepping . However one big issue for me is that the protein option is always either chicken or red meat and no substitute options in terms of veggie based meals . I like to eat more of a flexitarian diet and I think a lot of people are moving towards eating meat more moderately for health , planet but also for the wallet as good quality meat is expensive. There are a few “ bonus” fish recipes but 0 vegetarian or vegan options .

Paul: I was a bit apprehensive due to some of the people's negative comments as this book was created with a certain geographic location in mind it seemed. I went along anyway and I was so impressed with the ease of use, the method, and the meals. This book literally saved my sanity as a single dad with 2 kids. It reduced my meal prep time from 8 hours down to 1 and half hours and it's absolutely delicious, creative, and easy. This is by far the best and most outstanding meal prep book I have owned. Finally, after such a long search I have found a healthy, cheap, and easy way. Thank you so much to the author! Cooking has become fun again. :-D

Glitter FaerieGlitter Faerie: Busy mum of 4 aged 8-14. I used the free sample on kindle to test run week one. Main ingredients rice, broc & chicken. Pictured is BBQ Chick casserole. Very tasty, didn’t smell so good. Would be a tough sell for fussy eaters I think. Servings for this are quite generous, easily fed 6.
I purchased the book, based on this finished recipe, cost for 3 meals was around $60AUD, prep about an hour.
Cons: measurements in lbs & f , had to keep googling because I’m in Australia :) also had to Google ingredients but pretty common for US cookbooks. I’ll cope 😂
I plan on swapping the coconut aminos for soy sauce.
It def is meat heavy. I plan on 2 Vegie meals, 1 different meat & one TAway, together with the 3 meals batched.
Hopefully the next meal ( white chicken chilli) is more of a hit. But the prep & ease makes it a win in my life.
