SHSTFD Portable Air Conditioner & Fan Combo Unit

DA: This little thing really gets the job done. I'm using it in a small room that gets very hot (New York Summer, upstairs apartment, kinda hot!).

The AC doesn't get to this room at all, it's kind of part of the outside hallway. It's a family member's guest room I'm staying in and ended up having to stay longer than anticipated. So the hotter it got, the more unbearable it became. Sleeping was impossible.

I have it placed just at bed level, at the head of the bed, and have a fan across from it, at the foot of the bed and it keeps that little area cool.

When the water runs out though, and it's just a fan, the temp raises quickly. So that's further confirmation of just how good it is. That said, the fan does a good job on it's own when it's not super hot.

When I go to the bathroom and come back through the hallway and into the room, it's literally a sauna. SO HOT AND STICKY. I think this is inhumane. But then when I get back to area this unit is in, it's a whole different story.

When it's really hot, ice-cold water makes a difference. So I freeze two bottles and keep one in a little cooler next to the bed to defrost slowly throughout the night, and one...

Photo ProPhoto Pro: Wasn't expecting much at all. I was hoping to write a 5 star review, but I filled with water and measured the temp. of the stream. About a degree difference w/ and w/o mist turned on at close range. Would have given another star, but not happy with all the paid reviewers saying how wonderful this is. No this will not cool a room or even your face if more than 1-2 ft away. Probably better off with just a misting squirt bottle you pull the trigger on, w/ built in fan like: O2COOL Deluxe Misting Fan. I tried a battery pwrd mister fan and very little water came out (much less than this particular fan puts out).

Elle B.: This is a really nice little fan that is perfect for my temporary CoVid home office! I was actually surprised it worked so well. You fill up the water basket on the bottom, and then turn on the fan and the cooling button. That’s it! The fan send out this cool misty stream of air that feel really nice on a hot day. I angle the fan away from my electronics and point it towards me. I haven’t noticed any issues with it becoming too humid.

Kenny O: This is a highly aesthetic portable ac fan that delivers very cool air. I leave it in my room and having it running for a couple hours and you definitely can notice a difference. It doesn’t make a lot of noise too. I will keep updating if anything changes but I highly doubt it.

Update:
Does not work anymore. I recommend to not buy. The ac didn’t get cold anymore.
