Stahlbikefahrer: Entgegen der Angabe Shimanos ist es möglich eine 2Fach GRX di meist bei 11-34 endet, funktioniert die 40er XT Kassette bei mir (und vielen anderen) 1a. Qualität ist XT typisch. Amazon war wieder zu schnell mit der Lieferung. Gerne mal ein Tag länger, dafür die Arbeitsbedingungen anheben.

p88q: SRAM PG1130（11/13/15/17/19/22/25/28/32/36/42、ディレーラーはSRAM Force 1X, long cage）からの交換でしたが、スプロケットのロックナットをいくら締め付けても微妙にガタが出る状態でした。
そのまま使用してもPG1130よりスムーズに変速していましたが、やはり気になるので他のスプロケットに付属していた薄いスペーサー（１ｍｍ程度）をかまして組み直してガタを取りました。
ディレーラー調整のズレはほんの僅かでしたので、スペーサーをかまして組むのが正解だったようです。

Billy: 11-42 in the rear, 53/34 in the front! This is about the max range you can usefully run with a long cage derailer! Most long cage derailers can take up 50 teeth of slack so….

(42-11)+(53-34) = 31+19 = 50

34/42 is low enough for any mountain road application, lower and you may as well walk.

53/11 still catches at 45mph so good enough for me.

I also run this with a 52/34 in the front

Kim, YoungDuk: At first I bought Shimano XT M8000 11-Speed 11-46, when it was delivered, I found it as front chainring 1 stage in the box. I has used 3 stages chainring in my bike. I requestes to refund it immediately. And then I bought new 1/2/3 11-40 again in Amazon. Last weekend I went to the South province to enjoy Bike Touring with our Team, I satisfied the feeling of shift on the hill.

Louis B.: Significantly lighter than the SLX and much, *MUCH* less than the XTR cassette... This is the perfect middle ground. Not to mention many more teeth options than the XTR cassette. Such a solid piece that I've repeat purchase 4 times after thousands of miles and multiple wheelsets.

Cliente Amazon: la cassetta 11/42 xt (in precedenza in uso la 11/40 xt) è utilizzata con una corona doppia anteriore 26/36. Nelle salite estreme la differenza di due denti si sente ed aiuta chi non ha le gambe allenate, mentre per chi è allenato va ugualmente bene e forse maggiore beneficio nell'uso e modulabilità delle tre successive corone (per l'incremento di denti - vedere specifiche shimano), nel complesso la consiglio chi necessita del cambio cassetta con la doppia corona anteriore, per la corona singola alteriore meglio optare per la cassetta 11/46. Rilevata la differenza minima di prezzo (allo stato esorbitante) delle varie cassette shimano, consiglio la xt rispetto alla serie slx e deore.

FodderFodder: Ditched the 2x10 for a 1x11 worked out the ranges I had using the two front rings, with a single 34 up front and the 11-46 at the rear I really did not lose much in between. The 46 t is massive but if you want a really good crawling compromise on 1x set up this is the way to go. Paired it up to an XT mech and shifter, took about an hour set it all up and like most Shimano stuff once set simply forget. Works perfectly and even changing up to the 46 is as effortless as the rest of the cassette. Just pay attention to the B screw spacing.
