JonTheWongJonTheWong: I was worried at first, the spacers seemed to be made of nylon but I get a weak magnetic pull when under a magnet. The bounce test makes the right sound. A little disappointed that the sprocket and spacers don’t match.

Pete: It’s been on my bike for a year and had no issues with it. One downside is the spacers are cheap and weak. If this kit came with quality spacers it would be perfect.

Amazon Customer: Overall good product and I’ve been riding it on my bike for a while now.
Only thing is that the metal of the lock ring is soft compared to others I’ve used (from the big Shimano).

Joseph Burling: Very happy with it cuz i was able to reuse my old cog gear to get this to work with my single speed mountain bike , wish they sold 12 tooth gears but I had one on my old wheel so took it off used the spacers to space the gears but might be able to use the 16 tooth the kit came with if I'm planning on doing uphill trails or long climbs

Amazon Customer: I used this to make my mid-nineties stumpjumper a single speed. Very easy to convert from an 8 speed. I'm not sure if they sell smaller tooth cogs but the one I got is 16t, which would be awesome except I'm running a 32t chainring so its a spinny MF when riding in traffic. Its survived a montreal winter so I cant really complain.
