Lauren Rose: I recently was introduced to plasma donation and had no knowledge of what was needed to make it easy and successful. Just like donating blood, however, you need to squeeze your fist repeatedly to make the blood flow more smoothly. A lot of people just squeeze some fabric or their empty hand. With plasma, however, it lasts for around 1 hour and there are 4-5 short sessions where you’re constantly squeezing. So I decided to find a good quality rubber ball to squeeze.

This ball is terrific. You can get it in different firmness; I recommend light or medium (this one is medium) unless your hands are really strong. The added item that sold it was the band that fastened around your wrist. When you’re hooked up to the blood draw you can’t get up to retrieve your squeeze ball if you drop it. So this feature is great.

Trina: Having injured my arm and hand in an accident at work I bought these Stress Balls hoping exercising with them would bring the swelling down in my hand. Together with the Balls plus a good Hand Therapist my hand is almost back to it's original size. Would recommend they certainly work. .

richmondmikerichmondmike: I'll admit it, I was cynical. It is just a stress ball on a string? Actually, I was pleasantly surprised. First, you get three balls, so the price is more reasonable than it first appears. Each ball is a different firmness for variety. Second, the quality is top notch. The strings are well woven and have secure fasteners. The packaging is also well done, like a tennis ball tube with instructions in full colour. This set is definitely worth they money. As a stress ball they work well. They don't feel like they are about to split and the string helps keep them secure. As a bonus, the kids love them!
