About a month ago I suffered severe muscle spasms in my neck, back, and shoulder. All these muscles are attached and even made my arm and hand feel wonky. After a trip to the ER -- and chest/heart xrays/EKG to rule out any heart problems -- it was determined I was having muscle spasms. I had been a lunch lady for 30 years and did plenty of repetitive work daily for all those years. Then I retired [yay!] and after a while, my muscles seized up.
