Doug Hughes: Wife purchased this for me for Christmas, it arrived late and I got it for my birthday. Happy as can be expected. The unit is much cheaper now. My manual that came with the camera claimed I could order a free gift for being a customer. I contacted the supplied email and have yet to hear anything back. I went to the vendor suggested site for install video and arrived at a dead end. Does the supplier actually exist anymore? Emailed Rohent website as well as original emailed supplied with camera, they do not respond and it would seem they have chosen to renege on the free gift offer. not surprised really.

John H.: Was a little complicated to install in my case because there was no easy access to a power point but once installed it worked immediately and with no reception difficulties. With the camera situated above the door on the back of my camper the problem of very restricted rear vision disappeared. Mounted on the dash the large screen essentially replaces the rear view mirror so backing up is no longer a crap shoot and there is no surprise traffic coming from behind on the highway because it is all there on the screen. I have used it for only one trip so far but I would not want to be on the road again without it. Picture quality is excellent. Objects appear farther away than they are but once you are aware of that and allow for it is not a problem. I recommend this unit highly for anyone who has a vehicle configuration that restricts rear vision.

wesley cooper: I like the camera system. It’s misleading, the pics looks like it shows 2 cameras but there’s only one. I wanted 2. Can’t find another camera to add. And if I can I bet they’re way over priced. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Zac F.: Very nice camera and screen, but it's only a single camera system. I purchased the r7 dvr wireless backup camera and I wanted to add another camera to the system. I contacted them about their "Buy one get one" offer they have in their production manual and they said they were unable to get one for me. It's a nice camera but if you want multiple cameras it might not fit your needs

L. K.: We haven't used the camera yet because the items needed to attach it to our trailer are NOT included in this kit, even though it shows the items in the description picture. Items # 1 and 2 are not included but are necessary for installation.

Gray: Just got this for my new camper. Installed super easy and not interference in my f150 to the back of my 22ft'r. It would be great if the has an optional solar/battery combo add on but it wires up east enough. All the H/W is included. Again, for backing up this is the solution. I love being able to see what's behind me while driving too. And you can add up to 4 cams!

Update: For whatever reason the camera stopped working. The easiest option of course was to return it to Amazon and get another but I received a follow up email asking how the camera was working and I felt it was the right thing to do to give them a chance to help me out. And that they did! Right away they sent me a replacement camera and included all I needed to make sure I was installing it correctly and pairing it right. The 2nd camera worked right out of the box and I got it installed right away. It maybe took a day or two longer then the Amazon route but it was worth it. I got better personal service the. Just dropping it off at UPS. Very good customer service and follow up. I was not given this camera or asked to leave a 5 ⭐ review. Lori: New to pulling a trailer so bought this backup camera for our 16’ travel trailer. Received very quickly 4 days after ordering. Read instructions and tried to do the test before actually installing. Had difficulty getting the test to work. I emailed dohonestbest about my problem and they responded quickly and were very helpful. It was determined that the monitor and camera were working so we decided to forgo the test and attach the camera to the back of the trailer. We removed the middle top running light and replaced it with the camera making sure it actually worked. We were a bit worried since we couldn’t get the test to work but once it was wired up it worked perfectly. We have not gone on the road yet so can not comment on how well it works while travelling but wanted to say thanks to Luna at dohonestbest for the help..

I gave it 5 stars because it works very well.
But I would have given 4.5 stars because the model I received does not match what is shown here.

Also it says that it has a 170 degrees angle of view, but that is diagonal.
Horizontal, it is 120 degrees - see pictures

Very well build, metal and heavy.
It was attached to the back of my 26 feet trailer and I was pulling it with a pickup.
On the highway, I had no signal interruption during my 2 hour drive.

Very nice that they offer a second camera free.
Switching between camera is very easy.
I used it to hook up. (see picture) Note that I kept the protective film on that second camera.

Picture is very clear even on a sunny day. That sun shade is a very good idea.
You cannot see your rear bumber and see far on the highway at the same time.
You have to pick what you want to see when you install the camera.
I tilted mine up to see further while driving. It is what I needed the most.

I put the protective 3M tape on the monitor bracket, but did not stick it to the dash
I jsut use it for protection and instead use the windshield mount.
It did not move...

RR: I received my camera today, and unfortunately, its raining out, so I cant do the installation. I did however do a test run on it in the garage, and I'll give you my impressions of it.
Camera itself is very sturdy, all metal construction, and the antenna screws right onto the back of it. Someone else here mentioned the antenna would not tighten up properly. I did not have that issue. it is tightly mounted, and does not move. It has plenty of wire included, so you can run it wherever you need to get 12v power with ease.
The monitor is also nicely built, and doesn't feel cheap in the hand. I like the removeable sun visor as well.
Menu is simple to figure out, I did it in a minute without looking at the manual. The monitor has plenty of features for adjusting picture quality, as well as mirror image, and rotate image, and add distance lines if you choose to.
I am putting this on the back of my travel trailer, so I wanted to test the signal range. My trailer is 30 feet, and another 17 or so to the monitor, which will reside on my dash. A previous wireless I purchased promised 100ft range, and did not work out. signal was spotty, and poor when it did work. I hope this one is...
