steve blalock: This backup camera is clearer than the factory original and for the money it is a great backup camera. The zoom doesn't work but that feature is useless anyway ,it has never been needed. Super easy installation

Bob Hope: My OEM backup camera died a while ago on my 2010 f150. It still displayed an image about 50% of the time, but it was reversed (very odd) and the superimposed backing lanes had disappeared. I broke the Ford badge plastic mounting tabs when I pulled the badge off to get to the camera. Super glue fixed that up though. Just glue the tabs back on and let it sit fir 24 hours begore reassembly to be safe. The camera replacement was plug and play. The new camera is more clear than the original image. Love having it working again!

Chad: I only gave it 4 stars because there are a couple of little things my OCD notices. First for the pros, the price…wow! Way better than spending the almost $400 the dealership wants for one. Second pro is it installs super easy and is plug and play with the OEM harness. Now, the cons…first the image color isn’t as vibrant which isn’t a huge deal because it is still helpful to have a camera regardless of it were to be black and white. Second, the guide lines are off ever so slightly in the mirror display. This definitely is not a big deal because I personally don’t have to use the guidelines to back up or to connect to a trailer, I just like having it to help clear blind spots when reversing. It only bothers me somewhat when reversing normally and the centerline doesn’t line up on the display. Once again, not a big deal. I think this stems from the tabs on the camera housing being off ever so slightly when made. Overall I am very pleased with the camera. If I spent the OEM prices I would expect perfection, but for the $70 or so I did spend I am extremely pleased I cannot complain.

Jonathan Gulick: I was having intermittent problems with the OEM back-up camera on my 2014 F150. I sometimes see or do not see an image behind my truck or sometimes the image is reversed, and no lines are superimposed on the display image.

I bought this camera from "Amazon" as the OEM camera is on back-order at my local Ford dealership and they cannot tell me when they will have a camera for my truck. I tried to buy the OEM camera online direct from Ford and placed the order, but 30 day later the order was canceled as the camera is on backorder...

When I received and removed the "Amazon" camera from its packaging, the wiring connector on the back of the camera looked a little different than the Ford OEM camera I was replacing. I was concerned the wiring harness connector would not successfully engage the camera. I installed the "Amazon" camera and observed the wiring harness on the truck successfully engaged (clicked) into the socket on the back of the "Amazon" camera.
