Michael Wahl: I blew a disc and was getting PT and they used a similar tool to stretch the calves and strengthening exercises. I can do the exercises at home without the cost of going to PT.

Wynkyn de Worde: My physio warned me there were two versions of this: a firm one which does what it's supposed to. And batches of soft ones which don't offer enough resistance to be trodden on (which is kind of the point...). Mine is the latter.
Bizarrely, Amazon won't let me return it or get a refund. Buy with caution.

Jo K: I received this item yesterday and it remains in its wrapper. I bought it for calf stretching and Immediately I could see that it is too high and too wide for my average size 6 women's foot, equally for that of my husband size 8. With the plastic wrapper still in place my foot of course slips off, but it is still obvious that with it flat on the floor it isn't possible too get enough purchase on it and remain in a good upright position. With the domed side on the floor it slips away!
On a positive note, the foam looks and feels good quality. The edges are nicely moulded, the surface helpfully textured and I even like the colour. Shame about the size!
Beware - this item is not accepted for return?
It is my personal view that use of this item as listed, isn't possible without huge feet. Maybe I shall just have to get out a knife and start cutting it to size. Not Good Enough!!

Queenie: I use the product upside down because I am in a wheelchair. It works fine for me except I have to brace it against a wall so I can’t do anything else while using it.

KCC: I used this roller as a foot stool as well as calf stretcher. The foam is quite sturdy and is quite reasonable.

Mima: This is a great calf and hamstring stretcher. It's also small and light and easily transported or stored away in a drawer, etc. It's just like the one I use in physical therapy.

nicki: I use this everyday. It provides a deep stretch and is easy to leave on the floor against the wall for everyday use. I don’t trip in it so I never pick it up.
