Charmac: Excellent large butter dish. Has wooden lid with an inside seal that can be removed to clean. It would hold a full butter pound it’s large. Looks great on counter. Love it. Saw great reviews online for it.

ViViBaric: It's overall quality is great, but doesn't fit our butter (250g) ended up triming a good chunk on top and sides.

Tamara Suttle: This was a lovely butter dish. BUT I sent it back because I did not want a wooden lid. It's modern and attractive . . . And large enough for several sticks of butter. It just wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I reverted back to another butter dish that I had previously ordered and love.

Amazon Customer: Should have waited to write this review. My first review was positive, but after a month I have come to realize this butter dish is very heavy. I have to keep it in the cupboard & need 2 hands to take it out. If you have small hands or arthritis, good luck. Also the seal is not really that good.

NY 2 AZ: Perfect dish to hold butter. I don’t need a dish that is labeled “butter” to hold the condiment. Nor did I want a lid with a carve out for butter knife. Mostly likely the knife would break or be lost and then left with a cover that has strange notch carved in it. But finding one was difficult. This has excellent quality, lovely sealed lid and smooth lines. It’s perfect. I purchased 2. One for butter. And a white one for monk fruit. Very happy with this purchase.

boomvang: This is attractive, well made and a really good size. A fresh Amish butter roll almost fits with the lid but not quite. You need a spatula to smush it in but it still does not quite fit. I don't get the reviews slamming the seal. The seal is actually too good. You need two hands to open. I will probably take an Exacto knife and cut back the first of two seal lips. It does not need to be watertight. My countertop is way more squared away now.

Jessy: Great quality and looks good. However, it's too small for a regular 1 pound of butter like the ones we have in Canada. I need to cut/resize it.

Joe: It isn't a standard size for a pound of butter, which is why I bought it. It is slightly shallow so I have to slice about half an inch of the butter block from the side in order for it to fit with the lid on-- I didn't want to have to do this. That said, I have received many compliments because it does look nice and its good quality, its just the dimensions. I would give it 5 stars if it was deeper and could fit a block of butter without having to slice it.
