Robbie Wilkes: Cute, but the adhesive didn't last very long, so ended up having to screw it in the door. Don't get me wrong, we love it, and the cats use it to enter their Cat Condo for their litter boxes and cat tree, but it was still annoying to have to go back, just a few weeks later, and screw it in place. Might as well go ahead and spend a few bucks more and get the other one that's just as cute and doesn't use adhesive, so you don't have to go through the same headache.

Jacqueline Neault: This is a very cute cat door and my cat like getting his back combed every time he went in and out. He weighed 12 pounds and had no trouble getting through the opening. The back side of the cat door did fall off twice, but I just put it back up and squeezed it a bit longer to get it to stick.

DoobieWarrior: TLDR: Uses double sided tape to stick to your door. Plenty of tape is included but it doesn't stick so great to the door.

I thought this would be a cute entryway for our fur munchkin to enter the closet where his litter box is located. The included instructions were easy to read and follow and getting the hole cut in the door was no big deal with my powered jig saw. What I don't like is the double sided adhesive tape that is provided to fasten the plastic arch to the door opening. If the arch doesn't come out of the mold perfectly flat (which mine didn't, there is a little warping to it), the tape will hold one side of the arch to the door but the other side will pop off because the adhesive can't hold it strongly enough against the warp of the arch.
I fixed this using some construction adhesive and clamps but not everyone buying this is going to have these materials or want to go to such a level of DIY. I guess the easiest way for the manufacturer to fix this is to have better quality control on the arches or included different thickness double sided tape that allows the consumer to make in home adjustments.

Claire: I made my spare closet into a kitty room for their litter and food and used this to keep the dog out . So far it’s worked great . I love the brush that keeps them groomed and the door does a great job of keeping the dog out . It’s been on about 3-4 months and u haven’t had an issues so far . Also I have a chunky cat and was worried it would be to small for her but she fits perfectly fine .

Kakistocrat: I installed this myself into a hollow interior door and it looks exactly as pictured on the product page. The cat ended up belly-crawling through it trying to avoid contact with the brush, but it is easily removable so I took it out. My cat is pretty small, so she fits just fine. Unless your cat is a Main Coon, they shouldn't have a problem.

I don't have much experience with DYI stuff around the house, but the installation process was quick and easy. If you are like me, I recommend watching some videos on how to cut a hollow door. I used a jigsaw, but a hacksaw would do the trick. The key is to cover the area you are going to cut into with painter's tape before you start. As others noted, the cutting template that's included is slightly larger than it should be. I traced an outline of the template and then cut about 2mm inside that line and got the perfect fit. It's been about 2 months, the adhesive is holding strong (it's 3m double-sided tape, so it should be up to the task).

Nicolina: Arrived early and was very easy to install. We didn't use the brush piece, so it was nice that that piece is removable. Our cats easily got used to this 'kitty hole'.
