Nick Deck: Almost perfect but not quite. A small lip on the inside has caught my cat's collar on one occasion so far and luckily we had breakaway clasps so she wasn't stuck in distress but it could be a slightly smaller gap between the inner plastic wall and the rim to help prevent this in the future.
I had purchased a similar more expensive product which was made of wood instead of plastic in the past which made it perfect for painting and it really looks great. This one feels relatively flimsy and has a high gloss finish making it much more difficult to paint. Would have to sand off the finish and prime it for a similar effect so I cannot recommend this if you plan on painting otherwise it's a decent value.

Boof: Perfect for interior doors and looks really cute. Great if you want to close a room off for better heating or cooling with an air-conditioner. Love being able to close the laundry door but my cat can still access the room for the litter box. Instructions were clear, the only effort is cutting the hole in the doors.
