David Lighthart: It is such a simple thing, but we wanted a container, similar to a butter dish, to keep our cream cheese fresh. This does the trick! It is compact (not much bigger than the cream cheese block) and sturdy. We are very pleased!

Martin D: This wide version is perfect for the Karrigold size butter sticks. Or to fit 2 normal sized sticks. The area where the butter goes has very short raised bars to keep the butter from getting too close to the clear cover. Yet not so tall that a knife will not get down to the bottom of the butter stick when cutting some off. On the bottom of the dish are rubber feet to keep the dish from sliding around on smooth surfaces. Well designed and the perfect dish for the double wide butter sticks we prefer.

Wendy Faye Lamberth: I have been searching for years for a butter container that would fit nicely in my Butter Keeper in the fridge. Previously I was using a plastic container which was easily scratched whilst trying to use the butter.
Then I found this one. I absolutely love it and it fits the compartment of my fridge AND the butter sits on the tray .. so no scratching. I have ordered another one.
