MickeyMcMick: Loving this classic piano lamp style, I initially went looking on Wayfair at the singing talk show lady's product line. Wayfair wanted $350 for her version, which was preposterous for two reasons: the light switch was located in the base which severely limited its room location choices (not behind the sofa, for example) and the tent shade amazingly was not adjustable on hers, making it unusable. It took me a while to think of looking here on Amazon, and am I glad I did. This lamp is such a bargain, totally adjustable and comes in 3 finishes. How long it will last is a good question. It makes no sense they didn't design it to accept a standard light bulb, as when the current bulb goes out, according to what I understand, the lamp is no longer usable. Which makes it landfill-destined, unless there is a fix for that. Anyway, I might be dead by then, so if I outlive the lamp light then I'll worry about it later. In the meantime, I love my classy fully-adjustable floor lamp.

J. GardnerJ. Gardner: I rarely am this impressed with a product. Right out of the box I felt it's heft. All the parts screwed together with ease making for a very sturdy, good looking lamp. I got the nice vintage brass tone to place chairside in the living room. I liked it so much I immediately ordered another one in brushed nickel for my bedroom reading nook. The light is easily adjustable from the height, the swing arm, to the brightness while being very compact for tight spaces. I still can't believe I got 2 of these lamps for the cost of 1 on other websites. Definitely a winner.

maria la profe: Works fine. I only wish the shade came beyond the light. If you sit in the same room with the user it is harsh on your eyes. A shade would fix that.
