kristinkristin: The media could not be loaded. This mag light got five stars alone, based on the fact that they finally got this, right! The base is heavy enough that light does not tip over or fall into my clients faces! I love the ease of this particular light. easily brighten or dim with a tap on the light without having to look away from my clients. I love that it has light color too!

Amazon Customer: My sister and I have different hobbies. She loves to use this for the light as she works on her diamond painting on the nights she is on call. While I, on the other hand, used it for the magnifier and light on my crafts and painting in the mornings. Light source is not always consistent all through out the day and getting older makes your eye ask for a little bit of help.

Ambear: I am about to order my 4th one of these. I use it all day long, 5-6 days a week, hands free, for my brow services and permanent make up services.
Pros: I love the variable light color/tone options and the brightness/dimmer selections. I use these for taking good, consistent before and after photos too.
I love the smaller diameter heavy base.
Cons: I wish it had the option to be taller.
I wish the light color and dimmer controls were on the other side of the rim of the light…they are placed exactly where my chin sits when I lean over it all day so my chin changes the settings without me wanting to.
The ultra heavy base only has one plastic piece that goes into the middle of the base to support the entire light. This always breaks way before the rest of the light, rendering it useless as then it is unstable and a danger for me to use hands free over a clients face.
Still far superior than all of the traditional old school spa mag lamps though.

I cross stitch, and doing so has been a challenge at night, so this light has been a life saver and then some. The magnification at 3 diopter is perfect (You don't want to go higher, because you will see the fibers of the thread), and the light is bright enough to see what I am doing perfectly!
I was worried about the quality because of the price, but this is a purchase I do not regret. It makes a great model building light, and reading light too!
