sunmoon: So easy to put together. My aging eyes needed this! Not enough light in thy living room for trading and this totally fits the bill with the dimming switch and ease of use. Thank you for offering this! It's perfect in every way! Fingers crossed it lasts a good long time, since I only noticed the supposed longevity of the installed bulb but no instruction if the bulb needs replacement...only to not tamper with lamp. So fingers crossed!

Rick B.: This floor lamp was purchased because it fit with my rustic bedroom look I have been trying to achieve. However, this floor lamp was returned because it would not work with my dimmers. See, I have a lot of automation and I like to dim lights based on percentage. Unfortunately, when this floor lamp is 100% brightness, I was unable to dim the LED using my dimmer because this lamp has some kind of circuitry that prevents that from occurring. Which is a good thing!! However, it's not what I needed.
Things I would mention... the dimming of the light is quick. Meaning it will dim to it's lowest setting very quickly and stop. Then another press of the button will increase its brightness to 100% very quickly and then stop. It has a very easy assembly and I especially loved the fact that the cord did not come out of the base so the cord does not get badly twisted during assembly.
I would highly recommend this floor lamp for anyone looking for a stylish, self-dimmable floor lamp!!
If anyone is looking for a lamp that has the same look as this floor lamp but is non-dimmable and uses a standard E26/T45 bulb that can be dimmable, search Amazon for the following: "Mlambert...

MickeyMcMick: Loving this classic piano lamp style, I initially went looking on Wayfair at the singing talk show lady's product line. Wayfair wanted $350 for her version, which was preposterous for two reasons: the light switch was located in the base which severely limited its room location choices (not behind the sofa, for example) and the tent shade amazingly was not adjustable on hers, making it unusable. It took me a while to think of looking here on Amazon, and am I glad I did. This lamp is such a bargain, totally adjustable and comes in 3 finishes. How long it will last is a good question. It makes no sense they didn't design it to accept a standard light bulb, as when the current bulb goes out, according to what I understand, the lamp is no longer usable. Which makes it landfill-destined, unless there is a fix for that. Anyway, I might be dead by then, so if I outlive the lamp light then I'll worry about it later. In the meantime, I love my classy fully-adjustable floor lamp.

maria la profe: Works fine. I only wish the shade came beyond the light. If you sit in the same room with the user it is harsh on your eyes. A shade would fix that.
