Multi-Region, PAL/NTSC HD DVD & CD Player with Zone-Free Playback

Craig A. Roger: I bought this to accompany the Blake's 7 Region 2 DVD set. I was not able to get the HDMI to project properly to my flat screen TV. However, the "RCA" audio and video cables included worked fine. My overall score of 4 reflects that the HDMI did not work for me. But that may be my fault. Others may have been able to get the HDMI to work. Overall, this was a good buy for me.

RuralJohn: Easy to use right out of the box just hook up hdmi or RCA cables and play. DVD’s play clearly. Several months later I’m still trying to figure out remote. You must point the remote directly at the player. Buttons are very close together which is difficult to use with big hands/fingers. Unit is a bit noisy when changing programs NOT during playing of dvd’s. I bought this because I can use my UK and US CD’s. I love BBC sitcom’s and can get UK versions of ‘Complete series’ for many times a quarter of the price of the US sellers. Doesn’t made sense considering they have to ship allot further BUT. I’m thinking of buying another of this DVD players as a backup. I’ve played at least 40 DVD’s so far with no problem but gee, for this low of price…..Definitely a great buy!

izzy: So I bought this bc I needed a universal DVD player for area 2 DVD. Price was great. Set up easy but wow was there a crazy loud hum when I loaded and played a DVD. I whacked it once and gone. Works as I hoped now and I can watch my dvds

JAS: I'm impressed with this multi region DVD player. A cinch to hook up with the included
HDMI cable. All you need is 2 AAA batteries (for the remote)and you are off and running. I put in a region 2 disc and it registered quickly and began to play without any extra buttons to push. Picture and audio is as good as the higher priced multi region players. Besides it having a USB port and a mic input for karaoke ( both which I will never use) it has a lighted digital readout on the front of the player- a rarity for a DVD player. Don't know what its life expectancy is but I recommend this LONPOO player, it's a great deal.

El problema fue el polvo acumulado, me imagino que como la mayoría de reproductores. Sin embargo lo volví a adquirir porque es su servicio me pareció excelente en casa.

soundman: I had a good DVD player but there was a show that I wanted to watch that only came on PAL (region 2) DVD's. So I bought this one, and it worked out fine. I has a good picture. I was able to play my PAL, Region 2 DVD's in the USA, through the Analog connectors, to my NTSC TV set just fine. I can't say much about the remote because I need my glasses to see any remote, so this was just another one to learn. I like the digital display. I haven't tried this with audio CD's or other media.

Pandy: Now able to play the DVDs that I have bought, quite a number (as a result of poor marketing information), that were rejected by my regional DVD player. A big loss has turned into a win with this wonderful DVD player.

zedxcasdqwe: This little DVD player packs up a ton of satistaction. it does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it well. If you're tired to pay a fortune for certain DVD series but only pay next to nothing in Region 2 format, this is the perfect machine for you. You don't even have to select the proper setting, it does it automatically once you insert the DVD in it or you can select it yourself. As for me, not only did I buy one but 2 more for a total of 3 so that despite my extensive DVD collection, I'll always have this inexpensive solution to play them all for a long long time. That little machine is ''the little train that could'' and like me, you'll enjoy it I'm sure. There's even a front plug in for your microphone on the front panel for your Kareoke singer in the family. Now you'll excuse me, I've got to go back watching my movie !!! Nobody makes John Wick wait on pause right !!! And what about that pensil shot......wow !!! :-) Enjoy this little machine !!!

L. Adams: I needed an inexpensive basic multi-region DVD player to watch some discs that I'm unable to play on my US region player. This one seemed perfect. It was small and a good price. I received the player, opened it and set it up. It was extremely easy to set up. I put in the first disc. It played. There were a couple of spots where the picture would move in slow motion before speeding up and righting itself and then it would lose sync. I chalked it up to the disc. I tried a second disc. That disc played even worse...continuously freezing, going into slow motion and loss of sync making the disc completely unwatchable. I tried a disc I knew without a doubt played perfectly and it too played in slow motion in spots, froze and lost sync at various points. I had it hooked up via component cables that came with the unit. Thinking that may be the cause of the issues, I hooked it up via an HDMI cable. The only difference that made was the picture quality improved greatly. I got frustrated and gave up trying to figure out what the issue was. The following day, I tried again. That's when it all went downhill. I put in a disc and the logo screen popped up. At first, it said 'no...
