Kenneth E.: Okay, first of all - so far so great. I ordered this DVD player on a Tuesday and it arrived three days later, so five stars on delivery time. I hooked it up to my T.V. and it worked better than expected. Picture quality was excellent as was the audio. I originally ordered it for my wife who is a major Grey's Anatomy fan. I have bought her seasons 1-13, but ABC Studios, in their infinite wisdom, decided to release seasons 14-17 in region 2 and not in region 1, so in order to keep my wife happy, I decided to get her a region free DVD player so she can enjoy her show uninterrupted. What more needs to be said, it works. I have played region 1 DVD as well as a home made DVD, both played as expected. Then I placed a season 14 disc (region 2) and next thing you know it starts playing. Mission accomplished. It has other cool features such as karaoke (microphone included), usb and sd card slots, with the ability to rip cds onto both. I have not put this machine through all it's paces yet but for now I am happy. Also setup was a snap and price was great. If I do have any problems with this Huktec H368 region free DVD player, I will update this review, but I believe this will be a great buy.

Brenda Hutchinson: I used this player no more than 3 times and went to turn it on only to find out it won’t power on. After all the power on troubleshooting it went into the garbage can so save your money! It did work the 3 times that I used it but you would have to push the buttons on the remote several times before anything would happen. The bottoms on the front face plate never worked from the time I first plugged it in! Guess I got what I paid for. It felt like throwing 30 dollars into the garbage can ugggg🤪

Stephen J. Britt: Our Technics five-disk carousel CD player gave up after thirty years or so of playing. A great machine which is missed. So just buy another one? Not so fast. Almost no one makes carousel CD players any more, and certainly not "name" brands like TEAC or Technics (or Sony?). The one or two machines available are astronomically priced no-names AND all get crappy reviews, for low qaulity assembly and reliability. So then i stumble on this.....Forty bucks? No way. But all we need is a simple CD player for now; what's the worst could happen?

So I buy this machine. Unbelievably flimsy, cheap construction. Makes funny whirring noises, the CD "door" has to be pushed in and pulled out manually, and I estimate its life-span as one clumsy drop. But it PLAYS CDs. Perfectly well. No more five CDs in the hopper, but we will have music this Christmas, if only one CD at a time. (Install time was minutes; plug in two audio jacks from old machine, add electricity, and remote batteries, and start playing. Took way longer to open the box, and then remove the sticky label.)
BTW the big yellow tape on the machine is a bear to remove. After some time scraping and peeling, I applied "Goo-b-Gone"...

Drew I.: I find it funny that, of all the items I’ve ordered on Amazon over 20 years, this is one of the few I’m choosing to review.

The reasons are simple, though. I am in sheer awe at:

1. how much this machine can do, in general, and especially given the price
3. how plug and play every function on it is
4. how many things they actually include in the box.

To all of the doubters out there:

I didn’t read through one page of the instruction booklet, and within moments of turning the machine on, I was able to:

1. Easily navigate all menus and preference settings, though no adjustments were required; the factory settings were compatible out of the box.
2. Run a photo screen show from a USB thumb drive I had. (I just stuck it in the front port, and hit the DVD/ USB toggle button on the remote, and voila, up came a folder menu of my pictures.) You can pause the slideshow, rotate pictures, etc. No formatting, no menu selections, no preferences, etc. required. Just plug and play - literally.
3. Run a photo screen show from a memory card from our nice camera. Same as above: slide in the memory card, and you're set.
4. Get the karaoke...
