Get the best of both worlds with this TV antenna!FrankFrank: The several TV stations in the Tampa Bay Area have located their broadcast towers in Riverview, FL, which is about 40 miles from our home. I easily assembled and installed this digital amplified antenna upon a 3/4" PVC pipe as a mast affixed to a 10 ft. tall pressure treated fence post next to a tall hedge about 10 ft. away from a front corner of our house. I pointed the antenna towards the Riverview broadcast towers. This antenna works great with the coax cable being connected to my Tablo Quad unit and the Tablo Quad being connected via network cable to my home router thus providing a stunning video quality stream to 4 flat panel TV sets over my wired and wifi home network and being displayed through the Tablo streaming app (free software program) that is downloaded and installed on each Roku TV, Roku Ultra box, and Fire Stick. When I scanned for TV stations, the Tablo found 101 TV stations, of which I selected 80 TV stations to add to the menu. By the way, you are urged to register online for your antenna warranty, in case something goes wrong in the future. Also, the Seller's antenna support team were eager to help me when I emailed them a question. The...

David Johnson:
To get it out of the way, my only complaint is that the description clearly boasts 4k broadcasts and this doesn't seem to the case. The packaging and user manuals say absolutely nothing about 4k and only mention 1080. And yes, this device was connected directly to a 4k TV. It's possible that my area just doesn't have anyone broadcasting 4k, but considering there's no mention on the product marketing, I wouldn't expect it if you're looking to purchase it. Minus 1 star for that discrepancy.
The rest is all great stuff!
I live 50-60 miles from the nearest tower and needed to replace an old antenna that was damaged in a storm. At the time of my purchase, this was $40 and it was well worth it. It works with and without the power supply, but is much much better with the power connected. It feels cheap, but the setup and installation was easy.
I got about 50 channels without power, quite a bit of fragmentation and delays on some channels, and no channel was able to go higher than 720p. I would say 1/3 of the channels picked up were completely unwatchable due to the fragmentation. With the power supply connected we picked up 78 channels, rarely any...

Vardan : Works great. I get all the channels available in my area even though I only have it mounted in the yard on a pole instead on the roof. It doesn't seem like it is sturdy, but we had a hurricane blow through and it uprooted the pole that it was on and left it laying the yard. The next day I set it back up and it there were no issues. The price is awesome, only a few dollars more then the indoor ones that stick to your window and then fall, and only get a handful of channels due to their limited range. The only complaint that I have is that you have no idea what direction the antenna turns when you using the remote unless you are looking directly at it. This is great for my needs. Recently cut the cord. I found really expensive antennas that did not get nearly as much range as this one. I live 70 miles away from towers in two directions. Now I installed this inside my attic and was able to run it to two HDTVs. One 60 inch and a 75 inch. Picture looks amazing, even when in 480i. The material quality feels like cheap plastic and aluminum, and I can’t imagine it’ll last long in the sun or weather. I installed it inside my attic and I’m positive it’ll last long...

IIRCsometimes: I received the item promptly. It was packaged well and arrives complete. The easy assembly is nice. I've used one like this before. I live in the middle of nowhere and get about 20 channels living 80+ miles away from a broadcast tower.
