Korky Blue Universal Fill Valve - Perfect Fit for Toto Toilets (1 Unit)

Bullwinkle: This is identical to the Toto model for a few bucks cheaper. I've bought quite a few of these over the years because we have 3 Toto toilets. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the most recent purchase is showing signs of failing after only a couple of months. Occasionally the water keeps running after the tank is full and I have to push down on the fill valve to make it stop. All previous valves have lasted probably about 5 years wheras the fill valve in another toilet we have (a Kohler) lasts 10+ years. It is a much older toilet that uses much more water but it still looks and works great. The Toto toilets require a little more maintenance but work well and conserve water.

David: Once I got the old fill valve out, which was a struggle because of limited access and a nut that was difficult to get a grip on, the installation was easy, with clear instructions and a good design for the nut which tightens the valve to the bottom of the tank.

JCDL: I purchased this model thinking I wanted to “upgrade” from my previous model. Works very well and is efficient! The only only feature I do not like is that it is very loud during the tank refill process. My regular less expensive version did not sound this loud. Other than that, it works great.

Manchi LUC: Good product overall. Pretty easy to install. However, there is some leaking under the water tank ... I'd need to re-adjust or do it over again ...

Stan: While installation is easy, it is not a good knock from the standpoint of performance. The original totos fill the tank much faster and do not make a "grinding" noise during the refill process. Disappointed. I will be purchasing an authentic toto and replace the Korky.

Prince of Peas: I used this to replace a similar model and it was very easy to do. The instructions are clear and it took me about 15 minutes to replace on my Toto toilet.

Note that this is the 528GT model. I bought it because it has an additional valve to control the water flow and I thought that would be good. In fact, it really does nothing and I just took it off to make things more simple. I suppose you would use this (I suppose because I'm not a plumber or a mechanical engineer) if your water flow into the toilet is too strong and you need to cut down the rate of flow. Otherwise, you'll just leave the valve fully open and it serves no purpose other than to be something that could cause a problem. If your water pressure is not too high, save yourself some money and buy the 528T model.

This is not the first Korky product that I have bought and they produce good products. I am very satisfied with this unit as I have been with the other products from them. And, btw the unit I replaced was also a Korky but it failed due to human (this human) error. It would probably have remained in place for the next 10 years if I hadn't tried to adjust it incorrectly.

James R: Will buy a second one fir another toilet. Worked perfect for our Toro toilet. 10 minute install, no issues. Works perfect. Way better quality than home Depot or Rona models.

Francois Labbe: Exactement ce qu'il me fallait pour réparer la toilette. Le réservoir se rempli à nouveau rapidement et sans donner de coup dans la plomberie. Il manquerait les instructions d'installation pour les toilettes TOTO avec la "jupe". Pour ces toilettes il faut retirer le réservoir pour faire l'installation. Les instructions papier font paraître la tâche complexe, mais lorsque l'on regarde le vidéo, c'est tout simple!
