Ron C.: I installed the motion sensor on the garage door so if someone opens the door it will alert, the speaker however is not very loud and you can not hear it in the garage when I'm 15 feet away in the connected bedroom. I ended up putting the speaker in the kitchen 25 feet from the garage and it works great for now.

B.T.Bullet: I bought this alarm to be used with remotes only, but the buttons on the remotes are so flimsy. The alarm button failed within a week. Boo!

Ex-Calif: I have a remote garage and an attached garage. Wanted a cheap early warning system that doesn't need to be hooked up to the internet or law enforcement. I bought a base model with one PIR and 2 door sensors. I bought extra door sensors and an extra PIR sensor. I did not get any doorbells and I think it would make a terrible doorbell -I bought a doorbell cam and a couple of cameras for the "surveillance" part of my security plan. The good stuff first...
It's definitely inexpensive but very loud and everything works. I have been successful adding one bit at a time by following the instructions (you don't have to do everything at one time) - The horn is also the base unit and it is clearly the best quality piece. Everything else is pretty fragile looking. I plugged the horn unit into a power strip for programming because programming requires plugging and unplugging the horn to get in programming mode and switching it on and off is easier.
I put door sensors on all the main doors of the house and a PIR sensor in the living room prior to the hall leading to where we sleep. The PIR sensor here activates instantly if someone came through the kitchen/garage or the front door...

Paul Willie: Installed system in my workshop. Was easy to install, perhaps the siren could be a little louder but overall is a good inexpensive system.
