PrivatePrivate: This pump is definitely a great value for the price. Its compact size fits easily in my fountain base and it circulates the water at a perfect pace. I'm VERY happy with how efficient and QUIET it is. Many pumps are advertised as "quiet" but they are far from it. After buying 4 pumps that were a frustrating disappointment, I HIGHLY recommend this one!

Debiornotdebi: Great pump but it did not last as long as I would have hoped for. It was for a small fountain and did it's job. Perhaps the weather and 24 hour non stop was more than i should have expected from this 100 gph pump

Lucas P.: I used this pump in a pond as well as a small sump setup. Both of which I struggled to keep temps down but couldn’t figure out why until I replaced this pump with another. Suddenly a heater was required again… after doing some math and measuring how much actual flow the pump was outputting (never over 700 gph) the pump was converting 20% of the 140 watts of power it was consuming into actual hydraulic movement. Just over 30% was turned directly into heat that leaves 50% of the total energy consumed to inefficiencies or losses from heat dissipation. Although yes that does fit within the range of most other pumps offered, it’s definitely on the far low end efficiency wise and will act as a 80w heater that never shuts off.

Still a relatively robust pump for what it’s worth but if intended for an aquarium/fish keeping the severe inefficiency of the pump should be kept in mind.

Steven: Power is excellent. The problem for me is that the intake is located on the side of the pump. When i do water changes for my 120 gallon tank i fill a 20 gallon barrel with treated water 2xs and then pump it into my tank. The previous pump i had removed all the water from the barrel because the intake was at the bottom of the pump. This one is on the side of the unit. It leaves about an inch of water in the barrel. I did like that you could adjust the flow so it would not disturb my setup or debris in my tank.

fenix: Not bad for the price. we are using this to run a chiller on a saltwater aquarium and it had a small enough foot print to fit in the sump. Instructions are not very useful.

Unicorn: It is a nice design and easy to adjust. For its size it is very powerful and really circulates the water and is adjustable. Nice item I purchased.

kiboko: Arrived early. Works as advertised.

The only cons for this pump is that the suction feet do not stay on. They easily slip of the support mount. I have not been able to figure a way to secure them better.

Also it would be great if Kedsum offered a backup impeller, rod kit for back up fixing

Amazon Customer: It is rated for a 13 foot head well only if you want a trickle of water at 11. It is no where near what was claimed. A real disappointment. Money wasted.
I have changed my review after receiving great customer service. despite the item not doing what was claimed I received full credit with prompt service.
