Gerald: It was a lot smaller than my original pump but it fit very well into my fountain. I hooked it up and plugged it in. It is working perfectly and it is a lot quieter than my other two fountain pumps. Thank you!

artisannm: I have this installed in a makeshift waterfall setup where the hose only has to pick the water up about 2 feet. The suction is actually very strong on this and even on the lowest setting it's still pulling the water. On that note, this pump utilizes a rotating fin on the face of the pump that controls how much opening there is and with the fin rotated to the closed position the water is still bypassing it but a bit less so.
The only drawback I can see is that it tends to draw in and trap various debris in the vents and needs attention every so often. This may be an issue common to all pumps though.

Amazon Customer: The media could not be loaded. After two weeks of running we came home and it was very noisy not happy at all. I have it pumping water threw my UV sterilizer for my aquarium wouldn’t recommend.

couzin2000: Enjoyed this pump, has enough power for small fountains, great buy when I bought it (40$), but after 2 years I started it again and it only worked for a total of 60 seconds. After turning off/turning on, the motor froze and doesn't work anymore.
Checked my wiring, apparently the hot and neutral were inverted. Not sure if this could have caused the issue. I am buying another one because this is exactly the proper flow I need... but I will keep my review updated to let you all know.
