Michael Zoran: There are multiple problems with the Ivetto product. This is disappointing, because I thought the cord length and quality of construction seemed good at first. Unfortunately, I spent two hours confirming there is no doubt the Ivetto product is the cause of multiple problems. I will explain.

I use the app called Handbrake a lot for video editing and compression. The first 18 hours went fine. But then there were random disconnects to the Samsung 2.5" SATA III SSD I was using. This is simply not acceptable. Random disconnects like that cannot be tolerated, because it leads to errors with the files and drives.

Whenever there are random disconnects like that, I check for errors and data corruption two different ways on a drive. First, I go to "This PC." I then Right-Click the drive I want to scan - which in this instance was drive "g." I then click on "Properties." I then click on "Tools." I then click on "Check" under "Error Checking." This showed there were "Errors" as a result of the random disconnects while being used with Handbrake.

The second way I check for errors is to use the Windows feature called "Check Disk" using the "CMD" feature as an "admin." I used...

online-shopper: Dieser knapp 23mm hohe USB 3.0-Verteiler hat 7 seitlich angeordnete Typ A Buchsen, oben jeweils 7 Kippschalter und LED-Fenster und auf der linken Schmalseite eine USB 3.0 Micro-B Buchse für den Datenaustausch sowie eine Hohlsteckerbuchse 3,5/1,35mm für die zusätzliche Stromversorgung. Das USB 3.0 Kabel mit Micro-B Stecker auf A Stecker hat die angegebene Länge von 60cm. Da kein Netzteil zum Lieferumfang dieses USB-Hubs gehört, muss zwar ein vorhandenes Teil in der geeigneten Stärke angeschlossen werden, wenn mehrere externe HDD-, SSD-Laufwerke oder ähnlich stromhungrige Verbraucher ohne eigene Stromversorgung gleichzeitig genutzt werden sollen, aber unnötiger Elektromüll kann so vermieden werden. Mithilfe von CrystalDiskMark und der Verwendung eines 3.5A-Netzteils mit passendem Adapter konnte ich mich davon überzeugen, dass dieser USB-Hub bei der gleichzeitigen Nutzung von einer externen HDD und zwei SSDs die jeweiligen Geschwindigkeiten der angeschlossenen Laufwerke nicht beeinträchtigt. Und der Datenaustausch zwischen diesen Laufwerken über diesen USB-Verteiler macht auf mich einen ebenso unauffälligen Eindruck wie das An- und Abmelden dieser Speichereinheiten unter...
