Pawtrekker: I primarily bout this to use as a way to get pictures from my DSLR camera to my iPad for editing and it seems like it’s going to be a very nice, handy device. I’ve only used it with an SD card so far but it works like a charm, no problems, super easy to use. All you have to do is plug it in and go to your files to open it up. It seems like a very well made device. I will update if I have any problems.

Becky L: We have six laptops in the office and much data is moved between them. I originally ordered a USB hub because one employee uses a drone to take pictures which are on an SD card. Once the others realized we had the hub, more of them used it as well. I had to order this one as a back-up so others didn't have to wait to use it.
It works very well so far. We have only used it for the SD card and not the other ports yet. It has an internal blue light that turns on when it is plugged into the MacBook. I like that feature since you know it is getting power.
It is pretty fast at transferring the data which is 90% photos. It does not get bogged down moving them off the SD to the other files and there were over 700 of them!
I'm quite happy with this hub! It is very lightweight yet has a strong cord. Nothing that is going to get ripped, broken or torn unless you are taking scissors or pliers to it. I will order more if it comes to that.

Drew: I bought this to place on my computer desk so I don't have to connect my external drives or other USB accessories to my desktop (which ironically is under my desk). This will serve your needs if you read what is included very carefully.
Pros:
- Functions well and I have tested it and it will easily connect and power two external drives and an SD card simultaneously. (There are 3 USB ports, but I only tested 2 and the SD card at once)
- I especially like the SD card reader, which is sort of spring loaded like my DSLR. You push it in and click, then when you want to remove the SD card, you push in again to eject it. It's a small thing, buy my older Macbook Pro doesn't have this feature, which means I need to pull it out.
- The unit is tiny, and it is not bigger than it needs to be.
Cons:
- The cord is quite short, which meant that I needed to get one of these ( AmazonBasics USB 3.0 Extension Cable - A-Male to A-Female - 3.3 Feet (1 Meter) ) to connect it to my desktop computer.
- It says specifically, that they recommend you using a power adapter for powering external drives. Which meant I needed to get one of these as well ( Outtag 5V 2.5a 2a (2000ma)...

Dolores Raff: The one problem I had was resolved perfectly after following the tip provided by the manufacturer in the comment below. Here's my original review:
This adapter seems to work OK, with one notable issue. I've got it plugged into one of the USB C ports on my LG Ultrafine display, which is in turn plugged into my 2016 touchbar MacBook Pro. I have a USB keyboard attached, and it works fine. I've also briefly tested the card reader feature, which also seems to work as expected. But I tried to add a Logitech unifying USB wireless transmitter for my Logitech wireless mouse, but that proved unworkable. Instead, I have attached the transmitter to a USB-C to USB adapter, which is plugged into another USB C port on the display. This configuration works just fine. So the problem is in the Innomax hub/adapter. I don't have that many USB devices to plug in, so this is workable for me, though it's not what I had hoped for.
The manufacturer's comment pointed out that the MacBook architecture shares the wifi controller with two of the Thunderbolt ports (the ones on the right hand side). This creates some conflict/interference with peripherals such as bluetooth dongles, etc., when...

Also very reasonable for the price. Even lets me use my capture card for streaming compared to another adapter I got that wouldn’t work.
My only, and my only down side... it has a Micro SD with adapter slot, but it’s too small for anything I have. Which is fine ultimately because I only need 1 and I can connect my other camera through USB but was just something to note I guess. Maybe I have the wrong idea what the spot is for. Overall great but do be warned, it does get warm. Make sure it’s not covered up by anything. I’m sure it can get too hot and mess up a few things. So do be careful.
