Douglas A. LearnDouglas A. Learn: I got this camera for my car and was hoping for a good looking camera that is easy to use. This camera seems to have fit the bill nicely. I installed it into my Honda Pilot in about 1.5 hours. The controls are easy to use and has a great picture. The camera is exactly what it was advertised to be. I like that the screen is large enough to see and has options to see both the front and back cameras at the same time. The tool that was supplied with it made the trim easy to pull back enough for the cable to be routed and not easily seen.All the cables were plenty long to reach the spots they needed to even in the fairly large SUV. I would definatly get another one for my next car.

Benjamin K: This dash cam does every thing I want it to do. All I want the camera to do is record audio and video of everything that I drive into. I didnt need the GPS or rear camera features. No problem. I didn't connect those features. The camera video and audio are perfect. The video and audio is very clear and sharp.
I spent some time installing the camera because I did not want to plug in the cigarette lighter power plug every time I drove the truck. So I hard wired the power cord into an accessory power fuse on the trucks fuse panel. This required taking apart the cigarette lighter plug to cut out and use a small power supply circuit board that converts 12v to 5v that the camera uses. When I start the truck the camera turns on and away I go. The camera turns off when I turn off the truck. Works great. The wiring is all neatly tucked away so it looks nice. It would be great if the camera was provided with a installation procedure that would accommodate hard wiring the camera into the vehicle power.

Frankie: Installation of the dash cam wasn’t too difficult. The little plastic crowbar was extremely useful for prying open the airbag covers just enough to slip the wires into the crevasses. I was able to hide all the wires so that it cannot be seen at all except where it needs to poke out to attach to the camera. I installed a license plate bracket for the rear camera since I didn’t want to drill any holes into my car. I’ll probably order a kit to hardwire the camera in the future, but the cigarette lighter plug is working fine for now.

I purchased this camera for $80 after applying the coupon, and for the price, the dash cam footage is decent. The footage recorded during the day and surprisingly even during the night are clear and sharp. The license plates are readable up to three car-lengths during the day time and maybe only one car length during the night. The camera is light so it doesn’t jiggle around or move out of place if I hit a pot hole or go over a speed hump. I switched out the included micro sd card for a samsung pro endurance 256gb card for better reliability.
