catiii: Mein Gott a taste of Germany! On hot dogs add hot German mustard to the mix and yum! Wonderful. We always have had sauerkraut with our Thanksgiving turkey, mashed, stuffing, and peas. Goes great with turkey! I'll bet you never thought about it that way! (Thanks Yakov! :-)

lisa r. varga: Mellow flavor for garnishing sandwiches or eating by the spoonful without the sharp tang and tough leaves of fresh varieties - that are best for slow cooking with pork. Compare to the barrel jar brand. The wine in this one seems to make the difference.

Home improvement gal: Sauerkraut is always on my list. This is delicious. I cook it with kielbasa or some other sausage and I have an instant meal. It doesn’t take long to cook. My family never gets tired of it. I serve it with baked potatoes. That way I have an easy oven dinner. It is also great with a pork roast. Then I buy two!

Pepsi&plants: Mine was kind of dry but good value for the money. My litle dog likes this brand too when we have it on hot dogs and share. Nice flavor not overwhelming. Just wish it had more juice in it.
