David W.: It's not fancy. It doesn't connect to wifi. It's cheap and it works. We have even moved it and taken it with us when traveling. Good for keeping little kids in their rooms because it doesn't lock them in (safety hazard) but it lets you know if they get up in the night (when they could get into trouble.) Is also great on doors that open to pool areas. Would be great when caring for someone with dementia, sleepwalkers and even the pull out trash...(Ha ha, Rover, try eating the leftovers out of the trash when this siren goes off!) Have purchased three so far and used well over a year and am still very happy. Note: if you are trying to keep someone in a room put the alarm on the outside of the door and if you want to keep someone outside a room then put the alarm inside the room (otherwise the sneaky person can just remove the batteries rendering the alarm useless.)

Dede: This works great. Easy to install and arm and disarm. I bought this for my back patio door that leads out to the pool as an additional safety measure for my grandkids. If the door is opened when it armed, the whole neighborhood will hear it. It’s a loud siren. Am thinking these would be great to install on my windows and front door to alert me if there is an intruder. For sure it will drive off anyone trying to sneak in.

edit so less than 3 months and the remote no longer works, but I am not sure if it's the remote or not, checked the batter it's fine but it no longer turns it off or on.

well it turned out the remote has just stopped working but after reaching out to the seller/company they got me to try and reprogram the remote which I was really hoping it was going to work, but it turn out that the disarm button on the remote was no longer worked and they refunded me, very good company and would gladly do business again these things can happen and they handled it great, thanks very much, great seller/company, so they deserve 5 stars

Sariel: Got this since I live in an apartment and can't install anything permanent but wanting something that would be loud if someone came through the front door! It's loud when set off and very easy to both install and use. My one critique is the clicker! The way the attachment ring makes it very awkward to put on a proper key ring, so I was forced to use a flimsy thin wire key ring to attach it my my keys instead of a proper and more sturdy one. But other then the key fob it is just a great product!

PhoenixRose: This is the only door alarm so far that is skinny enough to fit in our small door jam area (the door is surrounded with thick wall) and I’m glad it is because having the remote really makes it better than most . Without it the neighbors would just get used to the sound going off and it would alert people we are leaving . The other great feature is it continues to sound the alarm for 30 seconds when the door opens, even if the door is closed , unless you have the remote . Our camera has a slight delay, but even if the delay is 15 seconds , it will still catch the alarm going off for another 15 seconds , which is great. The only issue we have is that it only comes with one remote , and there doesn’t seem to be an option to purchase another one separately. I wouldnt necessarily Take a whole star off for that, except now I have To make sure to be home before my fiancé if I’ve set the alarm , which means we’re gonna have to buy a whole additional set for just the remote and hope that pairs with the original alarm.
