Sarah Laney: This was just one of the sweetest books I’ve read in a long time. It had me laughing out loud, tearing up, smiling and feeling all the feels. I loved each of the characters and the way their story developed. Great read.

Cutiephinphin: This is another awesome read by both authors. I’m fast becoming a fan for sure. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I love the approach in handling issues and questions and that includes Birdie’s.

I love that there weren’t any overdramatic situations. It was a really light, sweet, funny and heartwarming read.

Readsalltheromance: This story is absolutely fantastic and also fantastical. It's really one of faith, hope, and destiny as much as love. If you believe loved ones watch out for you from beyond the grave and may have a hand in guiding you to the path you should take in life, this story will speak to your soul, and you'll love it as much as I did. If you're a cynic or sceptic who doesn't believe in fate and balks at too many unexplained coincidences, you may want to pass on this one.

Anupama: This is a wonderful book that has so one too many coincidences but still feels real. The hero is not the typical unfeeling guy but a person with feelings and not commitment shy. It's funny and also brings out some laughs. I totally loved this book

Daniela S.: Es gibt so Bücher da weiß man schon bei den ersten paar Seiten, das wird gut, die Geschichte ist toll. Und genauso war es auch bei Happily Letter After von Penelope Ward und Vi Keeland.
Die ersten Seiten gelesen und schon total berührt und mein Herz ist für die kleine Birdie aufgegangen. Diese schreibt einen Brief an den Weihnachtsmann, der in der Redaktion von Sadie landet. Da die Zeitschrift für die sie arbeitet immer zu Weihnachten Leserwünsche erfüllt. Nur dass es noch Hochsommer ist und Weihnachten noch in weiter Ferne.
Trotzdem beschließt sie, Birdie zu helfen. Sei es ein paar schwarze Socken zu besorgen für Birdies Vater, oder andere Kleinigkeiten die dem Kind helfen mit dem Tod ihrer Mutter zurecht zu kommen.
Durch einen Wink des Schicksals taucht Sadie eines Tages in dem Haus von Sebastian und seine Tochter wohnen auf, und wird prompt mit dem Hunde-Sitter verwechselt, der trainiert werden soll. Vor allem mit deutschen Kommandos.
Tja zum Glück gibt es Youtube, sonst hätte Sadie doch ganz schön alt ausgesehen.

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have the ability to draw you into their storylines, and make you feel like your literally in the book with them.

Sadie works for a magazine where she writes articles about dating and when the season comes deals with the letters to Santa. When she receives one in June, she doesn’t know the how much it will change her life ...

Sebastian was a great character who was trying his best in not so great circumstances, which I’m sure we can all relate to.

Birdie and Marmaduke are extraordinarily cute together! There was some hilarious laugh out loud moments. There was also several other awesome side characters who fit in amazingly well.

I’m normally happy to share more details about the book and what stood out to me but I feel like if I expressed this it would ruin it. I do believe you need to go in with no expectations but your own so you can figure out or be surprised by the twists and turns.

As always it was written beautifully, I thought it handled sensitive topics with ease and consideration.
