Ray Muniz: First of all, most of this unit is made of cheap plastic that most likely will break if the mailman decides to throw it over the fence. Furthermore it was very poorly packaged. The padding in the box were three half inflated air bags that didn’t do anything to absorb the shock if the box was dropped. As a result the unit that I received had something rattling inside and one of the sides of the face was loose. Secondly, the remote control is not very responsive and you have to constantly align the batteries because they simply get out of place and you lose the battery contact to make the control work. Also the working distance of the remote control is very short so you have to get very close to the unit in order for it to work and even then you need to press the buttons many times to get the commands to take place. This is really annoying. Once you get past these annoyances the DVD player picture is quite decent and the features are ok although the remote control buttons are very small. But I returned it right away so I wonder about the longevity of such a poorly made unit. It’s a very cheap but I rather spend more and get something more durable.

Amazon Customer: Wir haben auch DVD die nicht aus Europa sind. Daher suchten wir einen Code-free DVD-Player. Er wurde sehr schnell geliefert. Wir haben ihm am TV angeschlossen und konnten gleich die DVD anschauen. Die Bild-Qualität und der Sound sind sehr gut.

We have also DVD from abroad (outside Europe). Therefore we were looking for a code-free player. The deliverance was very quick. We connected the player to our TV and could watch immediately the DVD from Australia. Very easy. The movies run smoothly and the quality is very good.

CarterCarter: plays usb mp3 , even played my bad cd's, I wanted this player mainly for my old school receiver & EQ has rca cable output. remote control easy to use all functions work great, even vol control on remote works. Very good buy with quality sound. it is small as u can see on top but works great! Comes with RCA and HDMI cable ..Not sure how it plays on mp4 video or DVD. I got mainly to play mp3 usb music . Sure it play jus as good as CD does.

Gwen C.: I bought this because I accidentally bought some DVDs that were made for players in England. For the price this is a pretty good DVD player. I didn't buy it to use for Karaoke or anything else that it's supposed to do so I can't speak to that. It has a small footprint, which I like, and it works. It may not last for year, but not much does anymore. I'm happy with it.

Gene B: This is a low cost DVD player that seems to works well if you are not looking for anything fancy. Easy to hook up - just plug it in, connect the HDMI cable to a TV and you're good to go. I had one problem but I'm not sure if it is this DVD players fault. When using the supplied HDMI cable (about 3-4 feet long) everything was fine but I needed to use a 15 foot long cable to reach my TV. With that longer cable the picture was very poor quality. Since the picture was fine with the shorter cable I assumed the cable was bad and replaced it. I had the same problem with the second 15 foot cable. So, I've either gotten 2 bad cables or this DVD player won't work with a cable that long. As I don't have another device with HDMI connections, I can't test the cables with something else. Since I don't know if this is an issue with the DVD player, and everything else works fine I gave it a 5 star rating due to the excellent price.
