Amber Norris: I've had this lamp for a few months now and I love it! I have an older home that doesn't have a ceiling light in the living room. I used a command strip and mounted the remote to the wall, and it works great! I love that I can leave the smaller light on for a night light sometimes. This lamp is nice and bright, plenty of light for my small living room.

KQKQ: I really like this light. I bought another one, since the first purchase. It can be bright, light, cool, creamy, whatever your mood and your eyes need. I did not really like the small light that is attached & moveable, in the product pictures. In the photos it reminded me of a hospital light or Iv machine...I just wasn't liking it. But once I got it home, you can move it all around to make it look better for you. Im fine with it now. I have one in my Living Room that is open floor plan to include kitchen and dining room and it works perfect for us. I even thought of buying for gifts. I did buy on sale, so that was helpful too.

Dr. K: Whoever posted that this light is not bright enough is crazy. I was looking for a super bright light, but if it's too bright for you, you can dim it down. I like it as bright as it goes. How the top has two semi circle ring halves that can flip around 180 degrees independently, is cool and stylish for man cave type area for sure. The reading light is nice and bright, very useful. The 4 color tone setting is nice, from bright almost blue white light (sunlight) to a warm yellowish glow (comfort lighting) and everything in-between. I keep it somewhere in the middle, as far as color tone. You can dim the reading light or main light and also change the color tone in either one and they are each independent, so you can have one set light and yellow tone and the main light bright outside white. The remote is a great addition and you can control either light from the remote. You can also use the touch pad, physically on the light to change all the setting. The base is nice and heavy so the light feels nice and sturdy. I'm honestly thinking about buying another one, even though I don't have anywhere to put it for now.....I'll find a place for one of these cool lights. I don't write a ton...

FlurrysDad: We needed a FUNCTION-FIRST, torchiere style lamp with a "reading light daughter". This lamp TOTALLY fulfils FUNCTIONALITY!!! It's design is most definitely 21st century...with a dose of "Star Trek"! It will still blend with our future Tiffany-style lamps for our home's decor is most definitely "eclectic"...we have what we LIKE!!! Whether or not things "match"...is of very little consequence! <LOL> At higher-to-maximum brightnesses...the 4000K, 5000K and 6000K colors are hard to distinguish when the halo is set-up and positioned as a "torchiere"...3000K is noticeably "softer". Color differences are more noticeable in the reading lamp, as well when the lights are set to "dimmer" levels. VERY NICE to have controls both on the lamp "stem" as well as on the remote!!! Worth noting that children...and adults need to avoid looking directly at the lights, especially at high brightness levels...which is true for any LED light...and care should be taken by folks living with dogs and cats that do look up from time-to-time, although animals are less likely to look directly into very bright light! LOVE all of the color intensity options, as well as the ability to dim at all color...
