F. PopeF. Pope: I've used it several times since I've purchased to drain and fill my 75 gallon aquarium. I purchased a 40' - 3/4" ID (1" OD) tube, and use it to either drain the water from the tank to the backyard lawn, or fill the tank from water in the kitchen sink. It moves a good volume of water pretty quickly, making my aquarium water changes MUCH easier than trying to use buckets.

DonDon: I bought the pump to provide winter aeration for the pool. The pump comes with four inserts to adjust flow and pressure from the discharge orifice. As shown the discharge orifice is about 6 inches under water with the second to the largest insert.

jabez71: I bought to drain the kiddie pools because they get nasty so fast and you have to constantly drain and refill. Works great. I have noticed sometimes it doesn’t want to get the water flowing but I just mess with it for a minute and it gets going and does the job.

AR: Leere Fässer und den Pool. Ein kleines und feines Teil. Man muss nur etwas Geduld haben wegen der zu fördernden Wassermenge. Aber selbst 30 Meter weit schafft es die Pumpe. Es braucht nicht immer einer unhandlich und großen Tauchpumpe.

Stefan W.: Aufgrund der Beschreibung hatte ich kurz die Hoffnung, dass ich diese Pumpe zum Entleeren unseres kleinen Pools (ca, 600L) bei gleichzeitigem Giessen verwenden kann. Das einzige, was in der Beschreibung jedoch stimmt, ist der geringe Geräuschpegel....beim Pumpen ist das Teil ja auch unter Wasser.

Nie im Leben schafft diese Pumpe 1200L/h. Ich habe einen kurzen 1/2 Zoll Gartenschlauch an den mitgelieferten Adapter angeschlossen....das hat auch schnell geklappt. Die Pumpe läuft auch direkt an zu pumpen...das Wasser kommt allerdings leider nur ganz schwach rausgepullert....damit wäre der Pool wahrscheinlich vor dem nächsten Regen nicht leer geworden.

Für einen kleinen Plätscherbrunnen im Aquarium ist die Pumpe wahrscheinlich noch geeignet, aberals Tauchpumpe definitiv nicht.
