Spoodle mom: This is a great , solid, well made pan. Washes up easily. I highly recommend.
Just remember to let it heat up before adding food so it won’t stick.

Great Faulkner's Ghost: This is a rare case where the modern day product beats the old made in the USA your mama had. The bottom is thicker and heavier than my 45 year old one, and spreads heat better. It's also steel encased at the bottom, so it will work with modern induction stoves, and also just looks better. It's slightly less wide and slightly taller than the old model, but seems have the same capacity -- I only noticed the size difference when I tried to swap lids. It's a non-issue for me.

katie thinks: I had one that look liked this that my mom gave me, it was Revere Ware and copper-bottomed. Finally, after being in use for about fifty years, the pan was having a sticking problem. I purchased this one, slightly smaller than the original, and have put it to task. It is useful for doing up the onions, garlic, etc., and then browning your meat, adding wine and making sauces. It is large enough to take on rice or bulgar wheat, or other starch as well. The bottom is just stainless but distributes the heat well. I've a gas stove, and I have learned I have to be careful of its sides regarding scorching. Wish the sides were a wee bit heavier. However, compared to most of the stuff that is out there, this is a pretty good pan. May it last fifty years like the last one.

Maria Estela: The media could not be loaded.  Terrible!! I used it only once the same day I received it and stains appeared almost instantly. The worst part is that the food sticked to the pan even though I applied a considerable amount of oil. I’m asking for a refund.

Brock Estee: Old school works the best, for us. No toxic fumes. Everyday Staples, such as chicken, cook better and more evenly than in non stick pans. More predictable results. too. You can actually brown meat without ruining the pan. This size is perfect and weight for our household, we have the the 10 inch size. It is not too heavy, infact...very easy to manage. Clean up is a breeze (yes you read that right ) ((it is not non stick. )) Use a good sponge, soak if you need to, and squirt lime or lemon juice and it finishes to a shine, brand new. also baking soda and vinegar gets burn pans new. We bought many variations of non stick before admitting to ourselves that our issue was the products just werent that great and maybe it wasnt us "ruining" them. Like a lot of you, I am sure, we blamed ourselves. Oh, the heat was too high etc. FIVE STARS for everyday use, value,and very good results. Just ordered a second one.
