update: forgot to mention, it does run hot if transferring a lot of data. not sure if this is normal or not.
update 8/17 - this hub hdmi slot randomly not working sometime. I may just end up return and look for another hub.

marty57: Not overly thrilled with this unit. I bought it for Samsung Dex, and while it does work for that with no issues, with a 15w usb-c charger plugged into it to power the phone, it takes 5+ hours to fully charge my S22U..
I have an older QGeeM one I bought from amazon that charges at a far faster rate with the same charger attached.. so something is up with this one.
I will probably return it and buy another QGeeM, since the one I have has a loose connection, if I wiggle the phone it loses connection now. Worked fine for about 2.5 years though.

Kael: I love this little thing. I ordered this for my new Mac, which only has USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, because I knew I would need to plug in all my traditional USB-A devices from time to time. Finally I used it at work, I found myself on the server dealing with USB-C video and any mouse and keyboard connection had to be in the front unit of the USB-A port location leaving me with the cable sticking out and not enough space.
This little guy played the trick too! It handled everything I threw at it without complaint. It also doesn't slow down USB 3.0. I was completely shocked. Don't be put off by its light weight, either. It is light and silent.
