Old Coot: Great product, comes with one of the best warranties in the industry. This is in fact the gold standard for garbage disposals within the industry.

Spend the money, and have total peace of mind that this thing is going to work for longer than anything else out there.

Super quiet! What a difference, complete night and day, from the other brand I had for years under my sink. I had to listen extra close to make sure this thing was even on the first time I used it.

The vibration is low, the noise is low. You hardly notice that it's on.

But the quality and performance is very high. This thing choose through everything you can throw at it. In some cases literally.

Barry Zeidman: This garbage disposal is extremely quiet, as you can barely hear it. At first I was not sure it was even working, since it is so quiet.
Just wish my dishwasher was this quiet.

John De Cleene: Bought this to replace a Moen 3/4 HP GX Series Host, GXS75c 3/4HP which we bought directly from Moen which was so noisy I pulled out my decibel reader and it read 95 or equivalent of a motorcycle. Could hear it running in the kitchen even when I was upstairs in the house. Managed to get Moen to accept a return, shipping at my expense. Bad impression of Moen. So I bought this one after reading the reviews. So happy with it. Sometimes it is running and I'm not even sure it is on. Decibel reading is around 75 or choir or indoor conversation. Have had it for just a week but so happy with it. So glad I ditched the Moen and got this one.

Amazon Customer: My previous Insinkerator needed to be replaced (it was nearly 20years old). The shape of the new model has changed requiring a reconfigure of the plumbing. Minor issues, after installation the garbarator is working perfectly.

VicktoryVicktory: I've included a few tips before my review. If you just want the review, scroll down to "My review":

BEFORE YOU BEGIN INSTALLING:
(1) Take pictures of the until that you will be replacing. You may already know how it's supposed to be hooked up, but it wouldn't hurt to take them for reference, anyway, just in case. You can always delete.
(2) remove the plastic piece in the dishwasher hose hookup by laying the unattached disposal on on its side (on a towel), inserting a small flat screwdriver in the hole against the side, and banging the screwdriver with a hammer, repositioning the screwdriver all around the side of the hole, where the plastic is scored. Be sure to retrieve the "broken" piece and throw it away, so it won't end up being ground up in the disposal. I say this because one particular YouTuber was whacking away at it while the disposal was hanging, absorbing all kinds of blows. Let your floor brace the hits instead of the three screws holding the entire unit in the air. Whacking at it mid-air could weaken your assembly.
(3) install the power cord and then wrap it around the body of the disposal and tape it in place. This will prevent the cord from getting...

Alex D.: Since I was replacing my sink when I installed it the install was easy. It's quiet and hasn't jammed in the month+ I've been using it. Since I have limited counter space I had the habit of throwing all my cuttings temporarily in the sink. Now I don't have to take them to the trash.
It's pretty quiet. Doesn't lack power to grind all the vedgies and all of the meat cuttings I've thrown in there.
The power cord and air switch were also a breeze to install. No complaints so far. Should've gotten one sooner.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: It's quiet compared to our old Badger model. We're no longer afraid to use the garbage disposal while the kids sleep. It makes quick work of everything we've put down it. The outlet is in a slightly different location from the Badger. This meant I had to replace a fair bit of pipe under the sink so that everything lined up correctly. In the photo, all of the black pip is new, right back to the wall. It's a bit fatter than the Badger, but about the same height. It mounted onto the same sink adapter the Badger used, so I didn't have to change that.
