Sherman S: Works great with the eflux lighting system

Puts out a lot of flow for my 65 gallon reef. Turned them down until I can gauge the right flow rate

Matthew Davidson: As the headline states I am wishing I had gotten the next model up as these are very easy to control and instead of running these maxed out I could have run the next model at a low setting. But these seem to be very well made, setup is simple and they work as advertised.

kjhydock: Update: 1/29/2023
Purchased in March 2022, so not even a year old yet, both original pumps died (August 2022), replacements sent (October 2022) and now they're both dead as of January 2023. Also, the IR sensor/remote failed in August 2022. Customer support had been great up to this point, but they are not responding to my requests for help now that the 2nd set of pumps has failed.

To be precise, the pumps that have failed were all used as wave pumps. So maybe the wave function is what causes them to fail prematurely. Specifically, they are failing in the sense where it seems the motor coils are out of sync and instead of spinning, the rotor locks in place. In any case, Current-USA has not engaged with me about this most recent issue.

To put it all into perspective, a plain, brandless, made-in-China wave pump in my sump is still running strong which was given to me used well before I purchased this product. I might have cleaned that thing every 3 months whereas the Current-USA pumps were cleaned bi-weekly, according to their instructions. I'll attempt to reach out to Current-USA to resolve this issue and will update accordingly.

ShopsTooMuch: I really like this system, but I have had two failures in the last 2 years of use. The first time they did replace the pump. The 2nd time I just purchased a new one because it took a while to get help the last time and I did not feel I could wait. The features are awesome and I like that it is connected to my lights and return pump.

Moparman: This pump kit works well for what the cost of it is. Set up was easy and the ability to set up 3 pumps on one controller is a very nice feature. The remote control set up makes it easy to click a single button at feeding time to reduce the pumps flow for an easier feeding session. The only reason that I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 is because I feel the pumps are a bit underpowered for what they claim to flow. Additionally, I feel like one of my pumps has already become weaker after a short couple of months of running. I originally had it set at 50% power to create surface agitation and was able to see a disturbance on the surface. Now, there is barely any movement up there even if I turn the flow rate to 100% I can hardly notice anything. However, for an entry level pump kit that is pretty affordable, I would still recommend this setup for smaller tanks. Mine is a 40 gallon, somewhat taller tank which is why I got a pump kit for a freshwater setup to help with water circulation.

The pre-filter covers were clogged. I took them off and it is back to full flow. Probably just going to leave them off for...
