Randall Wilburn: Its a great camera for hooking up a trailer. Its is a very good package containing everything you need to make it work. Instructions leave out a few wiring details to make the most out of it. The LEDs shine to rear, not on the tag. So cut a green wire exposed in tag camera cord and they go out. I hid the cords and mounted the screen so the install was fairly involved, but a temporary install would be very easy. All in all, very good product for the money and I'm satisfied, much needed accessory for my van.

Seger: Installed on a Farm Tractor with one camera on the back of the cab and the other in a seed box on a Corn planter. The smaller camera meant for a licence plate is inside the seed box. It is a very clear picture in the dark space as the camera turns on little LED lights. Time will tell on the quality of the cameras.

Miz JMiz J: This is a very nice camera if you have a trailer/camper. Having two cameras is a great thing. We hooked our fifth wheel camper. We mounted the license plate mount to the back window instead of drilling holes we used Velcro so when we are not using the fifth wheel we can put it on the license plate. It is great to be able to use it both ways. We left the other camera mounted on the back of the camper. We did not want to drill holes so we hooked the camper camera up with adhesive cable zip tie mounts and ran the line up the front on down the roof. We just tucked the connector by the fifth wheel pin so when we plug the camper the truck we plug in the camera. We wanted the camera on all the time and did not need to have a reverse priority because it is so easy to switch between camera. We ran the cable through the firewall and under the cab of the truck. We brought the wire up between the bed and the cab. Very easy install. It is really plug and play.
This is the second one we got. The first one that came did not work correctly. We contacted DoHonest and they were great. They immediately sent out a new kit that worked perfectly. We can’t all be perfect and every once in a while,...

As the other reviewers said, the only difficult part is figuring out where to run the cables. The kit comes with 3 sets of cables for your application at 23ft, 33ft, and 43ft. You can connect two of the cables together to get longer than 43ft if needed. The picture quality to the monitor is excellent even when I have 66 ft of cable between the camera and the monitor. The license plate mounted camera has LED lights that automatically turn on when it is dark. The other camera has true night vision (which works really well in the dark) and a rubber grommet is included for a waterproof installation. The connection to the monitor is simple and you can either plug in to the cigarette lighter or connect directly to the power source/fuse panel. Switching between the cameras on the monitor is easily done by the press of a button, there is also a trigger wire which can be connected to the reverse lights if you want to switch cameras automatically. Curly: Note: This is not a wireless kit. For those that wish to install a rear camera or backup camera, this is an outstanding choice. Only difficulty is finding a convenient place to run the hard wires for the rear view camera/backup camera. For a Class “A” camper, you can use the 43’ cable in most applications and connect directly to the monitor or if you have a fifth wheel or pull along camper, you can install the 23ft wire in your towing vehicle and the 43ft wire in your camper (5th wheel or pull along). The wires can easily be connected together in a waterproof manner and provide an excellent signal to the 7” monitor installed in your cab. The second camera can be used as a dash cam located in your cab. Both cameras connect easily to the monitor which can be powered either directly to a fuse panel or though a provided 12v lighter adapter (with on/off switch) I found the quality of the video to be excellent and the ability to switch between cameras was easy accomplished.
