Kelly Chindberg: The horrors of WWII are visited upon the present once more. Berry takes us to Poland and its historical victimization by its neighbors.
Also featured is a travelogue to one if Poland's treasures; a great salt mine.

T. Srinivasan: It is always exciting to read Steve Berry novels. He takes you to different parts of the world in his novel. And, I try to visit these places through google earth. Fun way ‘no expense with no travel’ to see places we may not have a chance to visit in our lifetime.
Combining history and current events is his ‘forte’. This novel has a new twist. Knowledge is power and information leads to knowledge. That knowledge can create havoc if misused. Enjoy reading Warsaw Protocol.

BOB: Another great read by Steve Berry, and very topical at the present. A good build up, then the point when you can't put it down. 50% the way through the book, you think the story is going to wind up, but no, something happens, and Cotton has to start again! At the moment, I can't get enough of Cotton Malone.

Bruce Bingham: Never had a bad read from Berry. Really like his telling watch is fact and what's fictitious. This I think is #15 in the Cotton Malone series. Try to reaffirm them in order. HAPPY READING!!

W. D. Barnum: Steve Berry's Cotton Malone books are well worth reading, and this one is no exception. Berry takes advantage of Europe's vast number of historical sites, good restaurants, and such to weave interesting and plausible stories. At the end of each novel, he gives several pages over to explaining which items in the book are real and which are of his own invention. (I like this attention to detail.)
In this novel, Cotton is dragged into the search for historical records of Poland's troubled past under the Communists. There is plenty of action and intrigue. Cotton is torn between doing what is "right" and doing what the President of the US wants - a character in Berry's books who has some of the negative characteristics of President Trump, but which Berry amplifies. (Berry comes very close to being added to the growing number of authors that add their current political opinions into their works of fiction.)
I read for the Amazon Vine program pre-publication books, which are "proof copies" which have not gone through the full proofreading process, and I find a number of grammatical errors in those. However, I do not expect to find them in a finished published book like The...
