Kindle Customer: Kept moving but gave interesting pictures of the places and people. I assume some of the information was factual and fascinated me.

Kindle Customer: Great book! I am so glad that I read it!
I really was not expecting it to bring me to tears, but it did!
Three people, all on different journeys through life, meet up - when they were meant to. To find something totally unbelievable, indescribable!
I highly recommend this series!

Suzanne Russell: Mr. Grumley has written two amazing books that would translate to film extremely well. I was most interested in what was apparently his detailed research on energy and quantum physics.

Victor F: So excited I could finally give this book the time it deserves. Had it waiting in the wings for a while. At a time when many mass book series out there are pumped out lacking in developed writing and editing, it’s great to sit down with a really good read. Great story, well written and well edited with intriguing characters. Michael never disappoints.

Avid Reader67: I have read about the Monuments Men , have the book & have viewed the movie on which it was based. This is an interesting departure from the factual story, somewhat along the idea of Indiana Jones.

stevedhomer: An imaginative story with interesting characters. Perhaps a little too many scenarios that left the reader hanging until they were resolved. But the story drew me in and the ending was unexpected and satisfying.

Diana D: I enjoyed this for the most part, and it was a fast read. The story was an interesting blend of historical elements and plausible speculative ideas, and the protagonists were likeable even if not as fully developed as they could have been. Other characters were a little too sparsely developed, although there was some good detail included on the main villain/antagonist. Overall I did like the plot because it wasn't wildly out of the realm of possibility.

My 3 star rating is due to the presence of three pet peeves: while the writing was generally effective, there was an irritating (to me) overuse of fragments, especially when describing settings or moving the action forward. This may be a "thing" in thriller stories of this kind to provide a seemingly suspenseful fast pace, but I find it annoying when it's overdone. I keep on wanting to edit to make complete sentences. It's perfectly fine in dialogue - it's the way most people talk - but strings of fragmentary phrases in exposition narrative becomes irritating to read.

I'm not a fan of obvious, heavy-handed cliff hangers in books, and, while I understand the reasoning behind it - to get readers to immediately go out...

High Havoc: This is overwritten, very poor characters, the plot is ok but there are so many holes in the storyline it really doesn’t do it justice. The ending is the thing that really lets it down. Really wanted to like it but the author made it very difficult. Won’t be reading book two. What a shame

Kindle Customer: I read most of it and skimmed through the ending. The ending was silly. The characters were dull and the writing was hard to follow at times, the conversations between the characters were particularly annoying.

Kindle Customer: I found this to be a fascinating book. It took far too long to the reveal, but was written in a way that I continued with it. I'm so glad I did. I now have a very wet pillow as the reveal affected me quite deeply. (I'm deliberately being vague as I wish to avoid spoiling the story's affect on other readers.)

I am now planning on getting the next book by this author. I hope others enjoy this book as much as I did.
