Amazon Customer: A read that was hard to put down. The characters were very realistic, the challenges felt real. Big money is a powerful temptation. Super to see the ending. No further comments. You will find out when you read the book.

Larry: Turpin has created an exciting character in this series. It’s got a little historical fiction, some pretty cool up to date technology, and an exciting plot. His ability to leave the reader excited and guessing what crazy plot twist is next is unique.

Houston Guy: Great book. Fast read
Not just plausible. You feel like this Could easily happen if not already. The Shah was the CIA's boy. That was a missed twist. Still, you can see the movie on Netflix or prime!

Bethany Cousins: The Dark Shah is the second installment in the Jayne Robinson series by Andrew Turpin. These Joe Johnson spin offs are equally as thrilling and intriguing as their predecessors, following Jayne around the world as she hunts down miscreants and criminals. This time she finds herself embroiled in a deadly situation between warring countries and mysterious villains, traveling between Israel, London, Switzerland and more on her hunt for justice.
The Dark Shah was a brilliant read, riveting and exciting.

IMA: This series by Turpin is good, very good. The hero is Jayne, and she is portraited as a very capable woman i a truly malw-dominated gender.
The pace is good - no speed no dragging. Firt scenes are different that some of these steroide-heros.
The plot is believable and that makes the reading worth while.
ENJOY Turpin's books - I have read them and they are very good.

David Lowther: THE DARK SHAH is Andrew Turpin's second novel featuring Jayne Robinson as the chief protagonist. Previously she had appeared in a strong supporting role in the Joe Johnson thrillers by the same author.
With this novel, both Robinson and Turpin establish themselves as major players in the espionage adventure genre. It compares very favourably with the best of Frederick Forsyth's recent novels set in the Middle East.
Andrew Turpin has, of course, taken a bit of a risk in putting the Israel/Iran conflict at the heart of the story. Middle Eastern politics are amongst the most complex on the planet but the author succeeds in walking a tightrope between the two sides, hinting at both hawks and doves in both. Robinson and her allies aim is to avoid nuclear catastrophe and this forms the background to this thrilling tale in which Jayne teams up with the Mossad and other intelligence agencies to track down the dangerous Dark Shah.
The narrative introduces us to some fascinating characters from both sides and features a number of very exciting set pieces. And, as always in adventures like this written with a world perspective, there are some. great locations.

PJS: An attention grabbing read with a very clever and interesting take on the Iran nuclear program, plus the enablers. Jayne R is a good hero and moves in and out of espionage and action with ease. Good personal relationships as well.
