Books: I'm glad I could buy an air cooler for this price. However, the filter immediately starts decaying when you take it out of the package. Green crumbs of whatever this material is fall off every time you open the back to refill. It's otherwise a great cool breeze on muggy days in my new home that is very sunny, and heats up quickly.

Thomas Higginbotham: This is a great little unit for cooling a room down. The remote is nice and handy for us lazy people. I had a small issue with mine and I had to contact the seller. They responded quickly, they were very helpful and resolved my issue quickly.

Priyanka: Easy to install, remote control works fine. My cooler was delivered in May, since then I’ve been using it daily. It has 3 speed modes, I usually use mode 2 at night with cool mode (water) and it’s good. It doesn’t cool the entire room, but air flow is good enough for a good night sleep. It works great under 30 degrees. But during the heat wave when the temp was around 33-35 degrees, the air wasn’t cold enough, so I had to add very cold water and a couple of ice blocks( big one). Then the cooling effect was okay. 20 l tank is a great relief. As i always use it on cool mode, I have to add water almost everyday. You cannot remove the water tank. It doesn’t occupy much space. I keep it at the edge of my bed (6 feet away). I like it, and would recommend this product. It looks beautiful, do what it’s supposed to do. Delivery was on time (except the fact that the delivery person didn’t follow the delivery instructions and left it at a different place) so I had to carry it all the way to my place. Overall, I’m happy with the product. Giving 3 stars as during the heat wave it was a little disappointing.

bob: Use it in winter time and It is a great humidifier but use it summer it just adds humidity to the air and makes it even feel damp and hot
It comes with 2 ice pack and I used 8 more of mine and filled it with iced cold water, it has a very small effect but after a short time the water gets to the room temperature and all you are doing is adding moisture to the air and creating a damp environment which makes a room feeling even warmer.
It has a big tank to hold a lots of water and it is excellent machine to use in winter time when air is dry. I’m definitely loving it as a humidifier but not at all as cooler.

J G D: Initial impression for the price, I think it's a bit high. Way too much plastic flimsy for some of the pieces. Notice also venting area is flimsy and doesn't hold well the direction you set it to. As far as functionality side, it's very decent but would recommend better quality remote and a bit larger would be better. Tactile response is poor and having buttons that allows you to know by touch which is power, vs cooling and fan control. These would make for better user experience with the product. hence remote works but not great. As far as products objtective of being used for cooling and humidifying, it works reasonably well on both counts. The fan airflow is actually very good and if you make sure to use cold water + plenty of ICE (20-30% ratio) it does have ability to cool very well. I was rather surprised how well it works as long as u follow cold water + ice. The 2 little freezer packs are otherwise useless in my opinion. I was split on rating as I would rate 3.5+ out of 5 but I would of given overall review higher if quality of product was less cheaply made as I don't consider it well made but otherwise functionality has so far been positive. Casey Ohman: Let me start by saying this is not an air-conditioning unit. It is an evaporative cooling machine. The main things I notice with this unit is the various features it has which helps to accommodate varying rooms, and the remote which prevents from having to get up and change the setting while in bed. I also notice that the air in the room we are using it in has more moisture..but if I'm being honest, I really don't notice a difference in the coolness of the air. The ice packs given with the unit are nice but they thaw rather quickly leaving the water room temperature. Maybe there needs to be 2 more to really make the water colder. If you are looking to really cool a room down with a noticeable change in temperature, just spring for a window AC unit or one of those mobile ones.

WillWill: Purchased this product for our two car garage.
It worked exactly how I thought it would.
I froze the filters, froze a block of ice utilizing a Tupperware & tossed that into the tank, also froze a two liter bottle and poured cold water into the tank. So I freeze an a block of ice & a two liter.
That works really good for me.

Donald Kinehan: I would like to have written a good review..but i can't...save some money and just buy a nice fan...ice blocks are too small and don't help so i froze two large plastic botles of water...still not very cold...also noise level is pretty loud..

C.R.E.: Cons
- I do have to turn the volume up on the television.
PROS
-It did not cost an arm and a leg
- It does help cool and the humidity is now so that I do not get static shocks all of the time.
- Easy to fill, good design.
- There are wheels on it that can lock. It can easily be moved around (I recomend the water level half full or less)
and there are wheel locks to keep it from moving.
- If you fill the tank and set the timer to max (that is about eight hours) the tank will still have water in it. You will
not have to worry about the pump burning up if you fill the tank and use the timer.

I have been using the filtered water from my refrigerator in an attempt to keep the filter from getting full of calcium or other contaminants. So far so good.
