Brooke Booth: To start off I love that this product is made from bamboo. This product is very sturdy and hard to break it is also very practical. It cleans easily in the dishwasher or by hand it is also very athletically pleasing. Great for your kitchen.

Chris WatkinsChris Watkins: The media could not be loaded.  Its a very cool design, i like the matte finish. Its light weight and yet, it feels pretty durable. it seems like if it fell of the counter it wouldnt beeak but maybe crack. The matte finish, even though it looks good it shows butter from your fingers really easily. overall i dont think that i would buy it again but it does deserve a 4 star rating.

Engineer: My criteria were:
- Fits several sizes of butter blocks
- Has no handle, so it'll easily fit in the butter box in the refrigerator door
- Not plastic
- Ceramic would be nice, but breaks when dropped
This bamboo one feels good, sort of like molded wood, is lightweight, has flat-dish and butter bowl options, and won't break if dropped. Very happy with it.

The Howler: This is a Excellent dish.

It is listed as both plastic and made of Bamboo, seems from what the blurb says that it is made of Bamboo, hope that is right as I am trying to leave plastic in the past. I have looked for the right butter dish for a long time, as I have certain requirements, I keep my butter in the fridge, so it is fresh but then it is hard, I Always use a cheese cutter (which takes a thin slice of butter) to lay on Bread or Toast (mainly) potato's, well anything that needs it… So, when the butter is nearly used up and is thin, it is hard to get the last slices using the butter/cheese slice.

This is the best dish so far as the bottom of the dish where the butter lays is very thin so can still use the slicer to very near the end of the butter, well done designers! There's Just ONE thing that would improve it, I have looked very hard for this and never found it... IF the bottom of the dish had little spikes/bumps, then! The butter being impaled by them would, remain Still ! On the bottom of the dish and Not move when getting the butter off.
