45 and seeing results: This stopped working, just a couple of weeks after the return date passed. The DVD skips, or plays at an unnatural fast speed and that's if you can even get it to turn on. Don't waste your money. Amazon really needs to figure out a way to deal with sellers selling crap.

Amazon Kunde: Tut was er soll.
Einrichtung bzgl des Tones auf meinem Tv etwas kompliziert. Bei einer Freundin die ihn auch hat war es nicht so.
Fernbedinung sehr schnell und übersichtlich.
Er ist nicht ganz lautlos beim abspielen, aber ich kann dabei einschlafen ;)
Super klein und fällt gar nicht auf.

Oopnorth: I wanted a DVD player for a TV that’s only occasionally used.. Most seem to be about the size of a fridge, but as I have a CD/DVD external drive for my computer that’s only slightly bigger that the DVD I felt sure there’d be something similar for TVs. After a short hunt on Amazon, I saw this so thought I’d give it a go. On Prime, so I could always send it back. Set up is easy - you need a USB outlet to power it up but the TV is already on an extension cable that has USB slots. Frustratingly it didn’t work on start up - the display on the unit seemed to be responding to the controls but nothing on the TV. A faulty HDMI cable seemed to be the likely problem so a quick hunt round to relieve something else of a cable (which I knew was OK) ensued. Cable replaced, and everything was fine. Picture quality is good, the remote controls are all you need for DVDs, and if you want to move it or take it away somewhere it’s so small you hardly know it’s there. Perfect for what I wanted it for. It even has a built in speaker - usefully disabled when you plug in the HDMI or supplied S Video/audio, but could be useful if you come across a TV without audio input. By the way, the...

JohnJohn: I did not really believe the description on Amazon when I saw this DVD PLAYER. I wanted a small easy to pack player so I could take it when I travel. This does it all and ships with all the features and accessories one would need. It was well packaged for shipping as well with adequate foam protection. This company has thought of everything! I can also take media I wish to listen to or watch on a USB drive as well. I noticed if you do not have a 5V/2A power adapter they will ship you a free one also. Search speed goes up to 32X - really fast!. It has all the controls that any size DVD player would have but, ooh, so compact and easy to use!

Leanne BullamoreLeanne Bullamore: This is perfect for a small space! It’s super easy to use and works great! It comes with an AV cable, but you supply your own power adapter. I think this is an incredible idea to minimize waste! Who doesn’t have a bunch of adapters lying around that they don’t use? Of course, if you don’t have one, you can contact the seller and they will provide one for free! Customer service is great! I know because I was using the wrong adapter at first, and they helped me to make sure I was using an adapter that supplied the correct voltage!
I definitely recommend this product!

David W. Anderson: This is a very small machine. It is extremely lightweight, so it should be placed on a secure & stable location. It functions well, not difficult to operate. Multi-region, so it reads many DVD formats. I would say it's very useful as a supplemental drive, or perhaps to have in a recreational vehicle, but probably not ideal as a primary machine. One may need to play around with the screen ratios on your TV/monitor to get the appropriate dimension for any particular film, this unit doesn't seem to be as flexible as larger, more expensive units. But, it's pretty nifty for it's size and multi-format capability.

Ian the Happy Hammer: I wanted a little portable DVD player for my kitchen TV and to be able to take away on holiday and I found this one on Amazon.

It arrived the same day (isn’t Prime great?) and was very reasonably priced.

Then I see that it has its own speakers which, now, makes it a portable CD player.

But could it do all that I wanted?

I wanted the following:
• Small and compact and easy to install and move around
• Good quality playback
• Easy to use (my partner is a bit of techno-phobe)
• Reasonable price

Well I can report that it does all that it claims to do and all that I want/need it to do and I am incredibly pleased with this DVD player and would happily recommend it to anyone and everyone.

One comment --- NOT a criticism --- I was a little perplexed when reading through the instructions (yes I do read instructions once I can’t find something out myself!!!), there seems to be no mention of the internal speakers. But after a lot of playing around and experimenting, I found that these speakers only work when the host TV is turned off. This now makes total sense and this means that it can be used as a CD player through the host...
