Update 7/27/22: Since my original review, I was able to find the box the DVD player came in with the warranty card. I emailed Cehoit customer service, and they responded promptly and shipped me a replacement unit free of charge. It arrived yesterday and is working fine. Cehoit also responded to my original review offering free replacement or a full refund within 90 days of purchase. In both instances, they were polite, prompt, and stood behind their product. I’m updating the review to 3 stars, with the note that this DVD player is good enough for an A/V cabinet or tabletop, but I still wouldn’t recommend it for use in a minivan. Props to Cehoit for great customer service.

Original review: Bought this for use in the van based on other reviews. Even for the price I was surprised at how cheaply it was made. Thin, cheap plastic housing and cheap connectors.

I purchased this to listen to study material on dvd in my vehicle on my commute. The volume worked fine when plugged in to power in my house. For some reason the volume decreased significantly when using a usb port in my vehicle. Either way the customer service reached out to resolve the issue. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the product or get a full refund. This was even past the point of the return window which I had missed with my travels abroad.

Product is exactly as described. Able to play my beloved DVD collection from multi-region. Simple in setup using HDMI cable. And super small, compact, lightweight. I love LOVE the product!

Not a good DVD player. Freezes up in the middle of movies and won't continue.
Have to start movie over from the beginning. Movies play fine on other dvd players.

The DVD Player is small, light, & compact. I got it to use when we travel, and it's perfect for this. You set it up with your laptop on the road, & you're good to go.
It also works great with your home TV, so it fits all possible needs.
