Caramia_06: Coffee Makers works great and I do love the ability to program brew time. I love waking up to the smell of coffee brewing!
The Carafe design could be improved, however. The plastic "band" around the top of the carafe where the spout is prohibits pouring out the last drop of coffee "cleanly" as well as emptying out rinse water. I'm hoping I can find a carafe with the spout formed as a part of the glass carafe and not as a separate piece.

JustlilOme: This coffee maker makes really bold, strong, hot coffee - and it looks beautiful on a countertop.

I ordered this coffee maker after we stayed at an AirbNb and this was the coffee maker they had. The coffee was much better than what we made at home. It's replacing a Hamilton Bold brew coffee maker we currently have (we will donate it to charity); sharing that point in case you are shopping and comparing the two models.

If bold, hot coffee is what you are after, then this is your coffee maker. I found it on sale - even better!

The reusable coffee filter (cone) is really nice and very easy to clean - We reuse our coffee grinds for our garden and this is easy to dump into a small bucket. That and egg shells are awesome for gardens. Coffee grinds are not good for drains - so it's important not to wash the grinds down the sink - a little is ok - just not the whole thing.

Anyway, a star was deducted because pouring water into the reservoir is not easy on a counter top and cleaning the reservoir is not easy because it is narrow and space constrained... you will need a long, narrow scrubber brush to clean it - not included but available on Amazon (I bought one...

Bill W. Boyd: This coffee maker listed for $99, but Amazon put it on sale for about $39 if I remember correctly. It is a good coffee maker, but nothing special. Coffee tastes about like what I used to get out of my Mr. Coffee or Cuisinart coffee maker, each of which cost about $30. Consumer Reports listed this Calphalon as its best budget coffee maker. The coffee comes out not quite hot enough. Honestly, to me good quality instant coffee tastes just as good if not better than the coffee from this Calphalon coffee maker. Is it just me, or are coffee makers mostly a bunch of hype? This Calphalon coffee maker is worth $39 but not $99 in my book.

We returned the coffee maker at our expense to the warranty claim division. The claim was approved and we got the same pot, new, returned to us. Aside from being just slightly more silver than the one we had (a bit more grey). I added a star back, not due to the product, but because of the customer service.
In spite of that, I would not buy again.

I had to come back and edit this again, August 4, 2023 (see below for initial impressions)
19 days short of the full year of ownership, the warming plate quit working. It was quite the surprise to have it set to brew, get ready walk in the kitchen to have a cup and it's tap water tepid. I mentioned below the short life span we had on a previous model from Calphalon. This takes the cake. I like some of their cookware but will definitely not purchase another appliance from them.

Due to our previous experience I had gone to the website about warranty just after purchase. I went back and filled out a form and have to ship it back to them for a decision to be made. Most likely will swap it for a new model, which I will take and use if said happens. For what was paid for this unit this is really beyond...
