Also you can warm the coffee up for a hot Americano.

Akash Pri♏️eAkash Pri♏️e: Well, since this the first review from India, i'll be sharing a descriptive review as it will provide more insights to the buyers.
I recommend toddy home cold brew system to all of those who loves their coffee (especially cold brews) as much as I do! The system brews amazing coffee/tea concerntrate which can last upto 2 weeks!
I brewed 240gms (9oz) of coffee (Coarse grind) with 1.2l of water in the room temperature for 18 hours, and the results are mind blowing! You get a smooth, silky and a flavourful coffee which can be mixed with various mixers such as water, milk, tonic water, etc. I wouldn't say it's the best buy rather it's the ONLY buy which is worth it under the price point. It's the OG of the coffee brewing systems out there!
Quality of the materials present in the equipment - 8/10
Easy to clean - 9/10
Value for money - 9/10
Coffee brew taste (cold) - 10/10
Durability - (i will update the review post 3 months)
The package consists of 2 Felt filters (Toddy recommends to replace filters every 10 uses/3 months), 3 Complimentary paper bag filters, a stopper, glass decanter (it can be only used for storing cold beverages), a silicon lid, plastic...

Fran B: Update to review: The glass carafe is extremely thin and fragile. I'm always doing my utmost to be very careful not to let it bump into to anything even when washing but alas, it broke. Now what? One CANNOT purchase another glass carafe so I can either throw out the entire unit including a new bag of filters or try to find another vessel that will fit the top part which is what I will do before I trash the entire unit. Buying an entire new system isn't going to happen because it's not exactly inexpensive. Who knows? I may like what I find to use instead of the delicate glass carafe.
Because of the high ratings of this product, I decided to use my birthday gift certificate on it and am not totally disappointed. Pros: it was easy to use and I tried the coffee concentrate both iced and combined with hot water and it was a perfectly good. In fact, there was no bitterness to the coffee. Cons: it's such a large unit to store in between making the concentrate. I also learned NOT to press the filter paper to extract more concentrate because my fingers tore right through the bag. Now I just have to find a place to store the LARGE upper part of the unit

KingsleyBingle: I really love this thing. I am an iced coffee addict and I use this thing once a week to make an awesome batch of cold brew. I used to get similar results just steeping my coffee in a jar and filtering with cheese cloth, but the Toddy is better for a few reasons:
- It's far more convenient and easy to clean than my old method. Filtering with cheese cloth often involved slowly pouring the coffee over the cheese cloth and waiting for it to filter through. With the Toddy I can just pull out the cork and do other things while the coffee filters (usually takes 10 mins or so to filter)
- The filter is really fine and there is never sediment (there was always sediment at the bottom of a batch filtered with cheese cloth)
- It makes large batch (lasts me 1 to 2 weeks)
I really wish I could give this 5 stars because I do love it. The reason that I can't justify giving it 5 stars is because of the flimsy handle. This thing is expensive for what it is, so I would expect it to be of good quality. The detachable plastic handle is not strong enough to support the toddy when it is full of liquid. I really don't understand the point of a handle that can't be used. If...

Anna: The fact that I am taking off a star is due to something that MIGHT be common to all cold brewing systems, rather than to the Toddy specifically. It turns out cold brewing is a bit less economic than I originally expected, going by their suggested guidelines and also my own inclination towards stronger flavour. I think I heard somewhere that there is a bit less caffeine as well. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but you certainly get less coffee per gram of beans via cold brewing than you do the old fashioned way. As a result, I typically only use cheaper grounds for my toddy.
That said, I have no complaints about the quality of the product, or the reality of their claims. There is definitely a reduction in acid, as evidenced by the fact that I can drink it on an empty stomach without feeling ill (which I can't say for traditional coffee). The price is quite good too, even considering the fact that you have to occasionally buy new filters.
Also I have seen the Good Earth chain of coffeehouses using the Toddy for their cold brews as well, which probably speaks well for it!

K. Pope: I have only been a coffee drinker for about 5 years, and I had always put a bit of half and half and a teaspoon of sugar in my coffee. Recently, I was visiting a friend and she served coffee from her Toddy system. I took a sip and couldn't believe the difference. It was so smooth, I didn't need any cream or sugar and just really enjoyed the coffee flavor. I think I have lost a pound or two just by cutting out the cream and sugar for two months!
There is no better way to describe it than "smooth". The cold brew system cuts the acidity by 2/3, so I guess that is the difference. I will never go back to hot brew, I actually carry the concentrate with me when I travel!
I have tried different brands of coffee and found that I prefer a medium roast. The Trader Joe Breakfast Blend and the Kirkland World Roast are my faves so far. Pretty much any coffee you enjoyed hot brew will work for cold brew. Its better to grind it more coarsely, but I have bought pre-ground and it worked just fine (but see my tips on filters below). I tried a flavored coffee and that was a bust (flavor was really weak), but that could have been user error or just not the right flavor to try (it was...

CANTHESPAM: I am NOT a coffee drinker, hot or cold, but my husband is a Starbucks Mocha in the little bottle, addict. Until two weeks ago neither of us had heard of cold brewed coffee. Our local paper did an article on cold brewed drinks, hot and cold, and mentioned amongst other products, The Toddy. So after reading the numerous good reviews on Amazon, I immediately ordered one. Since we don't have a grinder, we had the beans ground at a local store and rushed home and to make our first batch. All the while my skeptical husband was sure that this was just another of my impulse purchases.
The next morning was he surprised. He said that everything the good reviews said, about taste etc.. was true. He made a Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk and cold brewed coffee and ice in the cocktail shaker, and was hooked. He says that his tastes as good as any he has had in Thai restaurants.
I don't like the taste of coffee, but I love the smell, and the taste of coffee candy, and coffee ice cream. After smelling the concentrate, my mouth started watering for an iced cappuccino - 2 ozs, cold brewed coffee, 6 ozs. milk, and 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla, optional sweetener, shaken with ice...

A.R. O'Meagher: Just bought this because I occasionally enjoy a cold brew and my college student prefers (loves) it. Cold brews are not bitter and are easier on the stomach.
To start, all parts are super easy to wash making cleanup fast. This one can be used with dual filters. This means a one time use large bag-like filter as well as the small reusable felt filter is used. For cleanup, this method was awesome. It also ensures more coffee concentrate in the process since all water is filtered thru the coffee (less sediment to block felt). Also, is way can accommodate less coarse grinds.
I’m not sure how feasible it would be to create a reusable fitted type bag (like the old Golds filters), but that would be ideal.
I will try the single filter next time with just the felt filter, but I have to admit, I like the idea of easy clean up.
A for the results, what an awesome brew! Nice and smooth.
My only complaint is that the lid that is meant to seal the carafe while being stored keeps popping off the container.
For my brew. I used one part concentrate, one part filtered water, and one part milk over ice with a little salted caramel syrup and it was...
